Disastrous hotel, old and poorly maintained structure. dirty everywhere. The carpet in the room and in the corridors was filthy. Stairs to access the room are impassable without holding on to the handrail. Breakfast in the morning disastrous. Avoid this hotel.

Hotel und Einrichtung sind nicht mehr neu, haben aber gerade dadurch auch ihren Charme. Leider lässt an einigen Stellen die Sauberkeit zu wünschen übrig. Das Personal ist durchweg sehr freundlich aber nicht immer ausreichend besetzt. Für ältere Menschen sind einige Treppen im Haus eine Herausforderung, mit Gepäck sogar ein Hindernis. Lage ist Top! Wer auf etwas verwinkelte und plüschige Hotels abfährt ist hier richtig. Preis und Leistung stimmen.

Um etwas trinken zu gehen ist das Hotel sehr charmant, zum schlafen besser woanders!

Het is een oud en zeer gehorig hotel. De ramen sloten slecht met flinke kieren ,enkel glas en rottende kozijnen.Het geluid van buiten kwam direct de kamerin.Heel de nacht overlast gehad van rumoer op straat. Voor ons zeker niet voor herhaling vatbaar en dat voor €150 per nacht!!

Centraal gelegen hotel met authentieke uitstraling. Ruime kamer. We hadden een kamer aan de binnenplaats. Hoewel het op zaterdagavond rumoerig was in de straat, hebben we daar op onze kamer nauwelijks iets van gehoord. Vriendelijk personeel.

Stayed here with my tour group the night of October 8. The main building of the hotel is over 300 years old, and this hotel screams character. Some of the stairs are quite steep, but have no fear, they have elevators. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms felt a bit spartan but were very comfortable. Bathroom had a tub and a seperate shower stall. The fixtures reminded me of my grandmothers home. The breakfast was very good and well worth the price. If I were to travel to Gronnigen I would stay here again. Lots of places to eat nearby if you dont want to dine at the hotel. Underground parking is a short walk from the hotel.
