This was the fourth time we have stayed at The Market. A wonderful hotel. The rooms are nicely decorated, comfortable and fully equipped. The location is great. At the front you look out over the Grote Markt. At the back of the Forum. Parking is easy in the parking garage under the Forum.
We were kindly received at reception. We were too early to check in, but were able to drop off our luggage so we could enjoy the city. First we had lunch on the terrace. The vegetarian nachos and the carpaccio sandwich tasted delicious.
The breakfast was also superb. In short, highly recommended to stay in this hotel.

Wir, eine Gruppe von 16 Personen, waren für zwei Näche im The Market Hotel. Es war ein großartiges Erlebnis. Tolle Zimmer, schöner Ausblick, Badewanne, Dusche... alles vorhanden. Das Frühstück perfekt. Freundliches Personal. Gerne wieder.

Dit hotel is een aanwinst voor Groningen. Prachtig modern hotel met rustige kamers op een geweldige locatie. De ramen van de kamer kunnen open maar dan heb je wel geluidvan straat, het blijft een levendige stad, maar met het raam dicht is het geluid weg. Het ontbijtbuffet is zeer uitgebreid en wordt goed aangevuld. En last but not least, het personeel was zeer vriendelijk

Alleen maar lof. Enige minpunt is het uitzicht van de comfortkamers. klein zijstraatje. Verder een leuke bar/ restaurant en leuk terras op de markt

Mooie modern hotel, leuk uitzicht op de Grote Markt De kamer was schoon en alles was aanwezig, bedden lagen prima. De vleeswaren bij het ontbijt ervaarden wij als zuinig. De medewerkers zijn vriendelijk en het was fijn dat je 's avonds ook beneden kon zitten voor een kopje koffie of zo.

Overall good hotel in the old city center and very convenient to many restaurants and shops in Groningen. Rooms are nice and spacious. The only hiccup is the heating which is a bit poor and the rooms are slightly cool even at 27c on the thermostat.

We are enjoying our stay here, it was beyond our expectations. Nice and clean room with complete amenities, good breakfast with lots of options and very lovely staff too. We will definitely stay here again the next time we're visiting Groningen.
