We had a short-term stay here when visiting the Mystic, CT area recently. A summary of what we liked/disliked about the property to guide your future visit: Pros: + The staff were friendly and helpful when called upon. + Easy, free parking directly in front of the hotel. + Good soundproofing for the rooms, which meant that we did not hear from neighbors when trying to sleep. + Short walk to convenient amenities, like a grocery store and restaurants. Cons: - The property is showing its age. One of the drawers in the bureau wouldn't close, and there is just a dated feel to the furniture in the rooms. - If you're heading to I-95 South, it's a bit of a pain to get to the onramp. If we are traveling in the area in the future, I would make a pitstop here.

My husband and I stayed here for NYE weekend. Great location for the area, staff was very pleasant and welcoming, greeted us at all times. We had a second floor room, hotel is average in my opinion, the furniture in the rooms & breakfast area are dated and the bathroom definitely needs an upgrade, but overall clean!
Breakfast was ok as well.

My room was not to clean, someone opened my door and woke me up early in the morning after I had just checked in after 6am after a 12 hour drive. The front desk told a stranger what room I was in I checked out early

Loved the hot cocoa and warm cookies as we checked in. Manager on duty, Matt, was very pleasant and efficient.
Liked the set up of the suite, with microwave and fridge. Sofa for viewing tv was very convenient. Bed was super comfy. Breakfast was excellent!!!!!!!!! Will come back!!!!

The room was clean and had all the amenities. The only negative item was the shower curtain rod that was not properly hung because it had been broken. You were able to shower and the shower curtain was in place.
