We had a great stay!!

We had a great stay at Hotel Charlotte. Finn was really helpful. He in fact stayed late to make sure we got in. Would like to apologize to Finn for the inconvenience caused by us. He helped us find a good Pizza spot late at night. Muffins were great too.

Visited Yosemite May 3-5,2024. Stayed at wonderful hotel Charlotte in Groveland. The hotel has lot of historical touch. Stay was comfortable. Our room was very cozy. Enjoyed our stay. It is very close to the Yosemite Valley and convenient to drive to the park. Mr Finn, Alexandria at the front desk are very good hosts. Very caring, helpful and made our stay enjoyable. Thank you so much Finn for the suggestions given to us to drive via Meriposa Grove and go south to Gilroy.

It was a historic hotel with lots of character. The staff was outstanding. It was very clean. The restaurant inside the hotel was convenient and the food was great. It is not everywhere outside of Louisiana and Mississippi that you can get good homemade fried chicken.

Lovely hotel right in the heart of Groveland. Walkable to several great restaurants, very nice staff, comfy bed. Would definitely stay there again.

Very charming hotel near (1/2 hour) the North Entrance of Yosemite. Everthing was clean and the rooms small, but cozy and the beds comfy. Host was great and made sure we had everything we needed. They provided a breakfast bar with coffee, teas, fruit, muffins. Would definitely stay on our way to Yosemite in the future.

A unique hotel in a fantastic location. The owners were so helpful, warm and genuine. They gave us recommendations and spent time answering questions about the local area. We enjoyed food on the second night and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the local area. Thank you so much for a fantastic stay!

Hotel Charlotte is a great base for visiting Yosemite and the Sierra Foothills. Rooms are comfortable and clean with lots of rustic charm. The owner/innkeeper, Finn, is so friendly and enthusiastic about the hotel and his work, he makes you feel very welcome. They also have a wonderful restaurant - Charlotte's Tavern. Everything is excellent, and I highly recommend the pork chop - amazing!! There was live music at the restaurant one night during our stay. Mellow folk and jazz - not too loud or too late at night. Free parking in back. Fresh muffins, fruit and coffee in the lobby. Hotel Charlotte is right on the main street of Groveland with several shops and restaurants. Go to the historic Iron Door Saloon across the street for drinks and casual meals, including a good breakfast. Go to Mountain Sage for the best coffee in town in a wonderful old cottage with a gallery, clothing shop and plant nursery. The historic Jamestown is nearby and worth exploring. While in Jamestown, try wine tasting at Gianelli Vinyards. They have a beautiful terrace/tasting room on a hill outside of town with amazing views, friendly service and great wines!

Quaint hotel, didn’t disappoint. Claw foot tub-showers, nice muffins, fruit, coffee and other beverages in AM. Very small town. Finn is very informative.
