We were pleasantly surprised with the room, although it was up some stairs. Staff was very nice, we enjoyed a few drinks in the bar even late on a sunday. We had a really nice coffee at the espresso place two doors down and some breakfast pastries. We enjoyed the Iron Horse Saloon next door for dinner and even bought some stuff at the general store across the street. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was good… My heater didn’t work and I had told the staff three different times but it never got fixed… On my last day, they gave me a small, portable heater… I feel something should’ve been done about a little sooner since how my room, I never got over 60°…

Great place for a short stay. We booked direct and very last minute. We first tried the booking option from the phone menu but after a brief discussion, soon decided it was far better to simply contact the hotel reception - this made life easy. Room was clean and well equipped. Bar and restauarnt was clean and ran very efficiently by Carlos. Food was delicious. Overall, this is a great place to stay to explore the surrounding area. We would definitely stay again. BE SURE to check out the history - you will find it interesting!

Love this hotel. The staff are friendly. The hotel was clean and inviting. The restaurant/bar had excellent food and an amazing server. Beautiful rooms with a Victorian theme decor. Such a pleasant experience. We look forward to going back.

A disappointment was that that restaurant and bar were not open because it wasn’t the weekend. Also ask for a room that is facing hwy 120, it gets loud early in in the morning.
Otherwise the bath and bed were fine.

On the register of historic places located in the heart of Groveland with comfortable well appointed unique rooms. Easy walk to the Iron Door Saloon across the street where you can enjoy a beverage or get a nice meal. The Groveland hotel also has a nice bar and restaurant on premises. Enjoy.

They don’t tell you that at the end of September so much shuts down…the restaurant, plus you have to make your own bed and put out your own trash and go to the desk if you need clean towels. They say that someone is at the desk from 8 to 8, but that wasn’t true either. I went to check out at 10 am and no one was around to be seen. Disappointed for what we paid for this place!
