Avons réservé une chambre quadruple pour deux adultes et un enfant. Pour le prix, on peut s attendre à beaucoup mieux car exiguë. Côté vue sur le château uniquement via un velux. Au niveau parking, très peu de place. Il faut payer un emplacement au parking public. Concernant le restaurant de l hôtel, ils ne pensent pas à privilégier les clients de l hôtel. Pas de place avons dû réserver à l extérieur. Bref on ne conseille pas du tout.

Booked this hotel for a romantic trip with my wife but a group of kids had booked a few rooms and decided to have a party in the room upstairs until 1:30am… Nigh**are!
Mentioned this to the hotel staff in the morning but they did nothing but offering a 3 Fr mustard as compensation (there was noone at reception from 10pm so nobody could have got the party to stop).
Terrible place, noisy, awful service, one of our most terrible stays ever…

The staff were welcoming, the room had a great view and was clean. Bathroom with bathtub, it's great. Breakfast is a little expensive but plentiful and very good. The negative point was the noise, it was poorly soundproofed and we didn't sleep peacefully. Damage.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was nice just too small even for one person. I ate at their restaurant both nights i was there just because the fondue was excellent and the service was fast. The hotel is located right next to the entrance to the old city and also right next to the bus stop. If you go there by train, like me, dont walk if you have luggage, it's all uphill. There is a bus that takes you from the train station to the Gruyeres ville, one stop.

The location was excellent, close to the old village, but quiet and separate. The staff were kind and accommodating. The room and bed were a bit small, but the overall experience was very good.
