Hotel Santiago de Compostela - Guadalajara Centro Historico

Lovely hotel in the centre, next to all the tourist places. Been here several times, some rooms are better then other...

The hotel itself is beautiful and the pool and rooftop are gorgeous, with stunning views of the city. The view wasn’t much on our side, just a wall.. but we didn’t spend much time in the room anyway. The location is absolutely fantastic, being just a 5 minute walk from the historic Guadalajara cathedral! The staff were helpful and polite - Would recommend to any friend to stay here!

Great place to stay if you’re going to be downtown!

This place is creepy. The walls were really thin and you can hear everything! Heard screams and doors slamming in the middle of the night. The WiFi was non existent in my room. Good thing my bf was with me other wise I would have not stayed alone. If you’re into the creepy vibe this might be for you. The whole time I felt like a little Girl was gonna run thru the halls. Like fr creepy.

The Wi-Fi at this property was not good at all.the shower took about 7 minutes for the water to get hot had to let the water run until then.only had 2 shower towels and one hand towel guess afraid of them getting stolen. The tv volume was set so you could not put to loud so a lot of the stations we could not hear. We were on the first floor on Thursday and Friday they had a gentleman playing the piano in the lobby which was nice but could not here the tv at all now in our room.every day in order to get back into our room we had to come to the lobby to reactivate our room key did not remember on some days didn’t remember so had to go back down stairs to lobby.worst of all every day at 10 pm there was loud music echoing throughout the hotel until 3 am. I could not sleep the whole time Asked the desk clerk about the music at first he pretended he did not know what we were talking about then said it’s not us there is another hotel attached to ours.there is not. In our last night there was finally able to sleep after music ended at 4 am some female started screaming and yelling for George then started slamming the room door 12 times then went quiet then started again the screaming yelling and crying and the door slamming another 7 times worst trip to Mexico we ever experienced. So if you don’t mind all this stay here.
