Really welcoming hotel, nice comfy bed and no noise, right in the middle of all the HAPPENINGS and the location is amazing. The staff , specially Verenice were truly one of a kind. Excellent!! If we return, we will for sure stay here, their partner hotel has excellent breakfast on a rooftop setting

Fabulous stay! The hotel service was amazing. The staff went out of their way for anything we needed. The room we stayed at (Pilar) was awesome, super clean and fantastic bed. It also had an entry living room and balcony. And the bar on the terrace made great drinks to wrap up our days. Music there was a bit loud though.

We had prepaid for a bit better rate, so check-in was a breeze. The decor was knockout from the lobby to the generous size rooms - I guess it was a junior suite. It looked out right over Le Jardin, so there were a dozen restaurants within sight, and for people watching, you were just across the street from the beautiful theater building. The concierge was extremely helpful in booking a very affordable 4 hour private tour of the city with the "Professor" and that was absolutely the highlight of our trip -- don't miss it.

We recently stayed in this lovely boutique hotel as part of a last-minute trip to Guanajuato. From the moment we arrived in the city, every service was performed in a friendly, cheerful manner. I say "arrived in the city," because the bellmen actually met us at one of the city garages to pick up our bags and guide us to the hotel, which is conveniently located across from the Jardin de la Union. While there was some initial confusion about our room, day manager, Betty, quickly dealt with the situation that more than met our needs. She and the rest of the staff made us immediately feel at home. Our room was large, comfortable, and very well-appointed. I have to say that the bed here was the most comfortable of our nearly two week trip around central Mexico and the shower was blessedly powerful to ease those muscles after long days of walking the hills of the city. While rooms facing the plaza probably experienced some noise at night, our room faced the interior courtyard and it was very quiet. Breakfast was included in our package and was served at a restaurant just down the street. I actually think this is a good idea in that there are plenty of menu choices and staff to serve you. We unfortunately didn't try the rooftop bar because the rain that came up during the evening. I'm sure we will try it when we return for our next stay at this lovely hotel!
