The elevator was in need of service. The rooms were small, basic and clean. The outlets were old and needing upgrading. The internet was not reliable. The location was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful but for the cost, there were better Choices. Small upgrades would go a long way

This hotel is highly rated, and it mostly makes sense, but their service / reception staff undermine the experience quite strongly, even when relatively little is asked of them. The rooms are spacious, the hotel big and with lots of character, the location spectacular, and while it's far from high end, you'd have to be pretty sensitive to complain about the amenities I'd suggest. However, we returned from our room one day to find a towel missing (the hand towel had admittedly been used to clean make-up so they opted to replace it, presumably). When we returned we asked for a hand towel (as we now had none) and they advised they would send one. They didn't. 1.5 hours later we asked again, and we went out. Coming back a further 1.5 hours later and ready for bed, it still wasn't there. Speaking to the manager, she then informed me there was no other clean towel in the hotel but after 20 minutes of me standing at reception eventually handed one over. The next day, we left the key at reception at 7am as we had a running event - when we returned at 2pm the room had still not been cleaned, and they said they didn't know the room was unoccupied despite having the key at reception. These should be simple communication issues, but seemed too much for the reception staff.

Love this hotel! Right in the center of it all. So much to do and see. Would come again. The room was older but comfortable. The hotel its self is nice and clean.

Very convenient, restaurant quality of food very good they have a lot of options I recommend. Beds were very good. Over all I will stay in this hotel again I highly recommended.

Excellent location, if you like Live music
this hotel is in the very center of the lively city. The location is perfect to be able to walk to all of the beautiful cathedrals, theaters and museums. It is also right on the main piazza where the mariachi bands entertain at the many restaurants. Definitely best to have a room not facing the square, as the bands and parties continue late into the night on the weekend.
