Hongpin Mansion (Guangzhou Baiyun Railway Station Jiangnan Market Store)

I chose this hotel because it was relatively good value for money and close to the Guangzhou Gymnasium, where I was attending a concert. The staff were friendly and the room was generally quite new.

Breakfast was just okay; it wasn't a buffet but a pre-portioned set meal in a 5 or 6-compartment tray. You couldn't choose what you wanted, which felt a bit wasteful. The room was quite spacious, and the small balcony was a nice touch. The TV was also a good size.

I was looking for a hotel in Guangzhou at the last minute, and all the prices around me had doubled. After a long search, I found this place, and it was fantastic! The room was huge, with a small courtyard in front. The bed was big, the mattress was comfortable, and the duvet and pillows were fluffy – I slept so well. The kids had a blast in the bathtub. The value for money was incredible! The guy at the front desk was super nice and very thoughtful. Thumbs up! I'll definitely recommend it to my friends.
