Guangzhou Beijing Road Pedestrian Street Dongshankou Metro Station Atour Hotel

The hotel is really nice and new. The staff are very professional and friendly. The room is a good size for 2 people. The bed was so comfortable that my daughter wanted to buy the pillow. Location wise, it’s 2 metro stops from Beijing Road (on line 6 from Donghu) but it will take roughly 20mins of travel based on AMap). It’s also close to Metro Line 1 (15mins walk) which takes you to Guangzhou East railway station (about 30mins travel based on AMap). As you’re not in the centre of tourist spots, the food nearby are really cheap / reasonable priced. The buffet breakfast has a good spread and changes daily. The coffee machine gives out a good coffee. Most coffee in the hotel I’ve stayed in China has been either horrible or milky where you can’t even taste the coffee. But here the coffee from the machine was nice. They offer the following free services 1. Free supper of congee (including dumplings and buns) 2. Laundry service. You leave your laundry on level 9 and someone will wash and dry for you and return it to your room). This is so good, as you can enjoy the day exploring the city and not waste it doing laundry. 3. Borrow books from their library 4. Private Rooms downstairs to chill out reading books or doing work. 5 decent size gym. Though I didn’t use it.

Overall, the hotel service is very good. The room cleaning is good. Staff are helpful and friendly. A lot nice food ard the hotel.
