Sofitel Guangzhou Sunrich

Fantastic! It made me appreciate Guangzhou so much more. The cleanliness was exceptional, and the elegant environment was an absolute delight.

The overall hotel experience was superb! The location is very convenient, and the environment is clean and quiet. The room was tidy and spacious, the bedding was comfortable, so I slept soundly. The front desk service from Ninichen was warm and attentive. It offers great value for money, and I will definitely choose this hotel again next time!

For a 5-star hotel, the hygiene left much to be desired. The toilet flush tank was covered in black stains, and the sanitary bags were dusty. The teacups had obvious watermarks, and the duvet cover felt scratchy. It honestly felt like the room hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in ages. Extremely poor value for money, a very disappointing experience.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. The first time was during a furniture exhibition, and this time I was traveling with my kids. However, last night, there must have been fleas or mites in the bed because both adults woke up with red, itchy rashes all over their arms and legs. Last night, in the middle of the night, I thought mosquitoes were biting my hand, and today my friend also said she felt something jumping all night. Our two children used their own bedding, so they didn't get rashes. When we reported it to the front desk, they just said they'd follow up, which was a very poor experience. Also, I wanted to have the buffet before checking out, but they said it was fully booked today and we'd have to wait an hour. I find it strange that hotel guests can't get special treatment. This stay was truly unpleasant 😠 Cleanliness: The glass on the mini-bar hadn't been cleaned; it was covered in dust!

Had a comfortable stay and took some great photos! The gym and pool on the 7th floor were fantastic and free to use – definitely made this trip worthwhile ✨. Every detail at this hotel offers a sense of healing. Without a luxurious backdrop, the hotel uses its thoughtful details to be a light on your journey. No perfunctory service, no compromises, just a little sun on your travels ☀️. Had a wonderful time at Sofitel, and Mia at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful during my check-out.
