Home Inn (Guangzhou East Railway Station Chengguang Building)

Upon checking in, I immediately spotted a huge, disgusting spider in the bathroom. There were no other rooms available, so I couldn't switch. I'm giving service 4 stars because the front desk was quick to send someone to handle the issue, but everything else was just... not good.

This is my seventh stay in four years at this hotel, and I keep coming back for a reason! The breakfast selection is fantastic, and the front desk staff, both the ladies and gentlemen, are incredibly friendly and helpful. Any request or issue is resolved with just a word or a phone call, and their response time is super quick. The room hygiene is excellent, with no strange odors. I'll definitely be back again next time!

The price was good and the environment was decent, but the toilet's flush wasn't very strong, and the scent in the hotel's 2nd-floor hallway was too overpowering, almost nauseating.

The service was great and all, but the price is really a bit outrageous. I booked it for over 420 RMB, and then the next day it showed that extending the stay would only cost over 200 RMB. There's no need for such a difference just because it's the weekend, is there? Also, the room having no windows was quite uncomfortable.

Location: Situated by a main road, it's convenient and safe. You need a key card to use the elevator. It's a bit of a walk to the subway station, maybe a few hundred meters, but still acceptable! Cleanliness and Environment: The hotel is clean, tidy, and looks very comfortable. I felt confident traveling with my child here; we could just push the mattress against the wall so the little one wouldn't fall out, haha! Service: The self-service breakfast was plentiful. The staff were diligent and helpful within their capabilities. We could even store our luggage after check-out, which was very convenient! The laundry room has washing machines, dryers, and ironing machines. You can check the laundry room status on the room screen, and your clothes are clean in about an hour! Thumbs up! The robot delivering meals to the room was fun too!

Great value for money, only a 10-minute walk from the subway. The environment is lovely, and you need your room card to use the elevator, which is a nice security touch. They even have a robot deliver takeout! The room was a bit small, but it felt very cozy. Overall, a good experience.

The room was clean, the front desk service was great, and the hotel felt safe and convenient.
