Moli Hotel (Guangzhou Yongqingfang Zhongshan 8th Road Subway Station)

This hotel was absolutely terrible, and to make matters worse, I booked a 'Superior King Room' which was nothing like the pictures. There was no large sofa, just a single chair. The front desk staff, particularly the lady with glasses, had an awful attitude. She spoke to me as if I owed her money, completely lacking any customer service. When I asked if there was complimentary bottled water in the room, she bluntly said no and that I'd have to buy it myself. Later, I saw her giving free bottled water to other guests. Why the differential treatment? For a hotel costing over 200 yuan, not even a free bottle of water? The most outrageous part was when I asked for a late checkout until 2 PM, and she flat-out refused, saying I had to be out by 12 PM. What kind of logic is that? I've stayed in countless hotels for business trips, and this is the only one that doesn't allow late checkouts. And let's talk about the room's cleanliness – it was disgusting, dirty, and moldy, with a terrible musty smell. After just one day, I developed a cough and a fever. The hospital diagnosed it as a viral infection. There was an unknown powdery substance on the bedside table, and dust and grime everywhere. The bathroom didn't even have a trash bag, and there were so many mosquitoes and unidentified bugs in the room. It was nauseating. The hallway carpet reeked, like stinky feet – absolutely foul. Other hotels always smell pleasant when you walk in. This is the worst hotel I've ever encountered. The soundproofing was also terrible. I could clearly hear conversations from the next room and people walking by the door. I will only stay at this hotel once. I will definitely not be coming back. I've stayed in hotels so many times for work, and this is my first negative review.

Super convenient location, right by the subway station. Being close to the park is a huge bonus for early risers like me!

The environment is great and the location is easy to find. The service attitude is excellent. Highly recommended.
