Ramada by Wyndham Properties in Guangzhou

This is an older hotel with a fantastic location and incredible views of the Canton Tower. They offer various room types; some of the older ones genuinely feel like guesthouses, especially the bathrooms. However, the hotel has renovated some rooms, like the one I moved to on the 14th floor. The front desk staff, much like in many Hong Kong hotels, are rather expressionless and cold – a 'take it or leave it' attitude. In contrast, the service in the Chinese restaurant was excellent, particularly from a woman with short, straight hair who was efficient and quick, typical of a Cantonese person. The food there was also superb. Within walking distance of the hotel, there are several great restaurants and small shops, and it's also close to K11.

A really great find in the area that was recommended to us by locals - conveniently located and adjacent to a lot of charming side streets with great cafes and shops to discover. I couldn't be happier with the level of service here: a complimentary upgrade, super helpful and knowledgeable staff, amenities like complimentary slippers and robes, decent bath products, and most importantly an amazingly clean and comfortable room. Wow! I was happy enough to extend my stay here... twice!

I got up early and was too sleepy to travel, so I stayed for 4 hours to rest. Overall, it was good! Parking is convenient, clean, and the room size is suitable. The location is very good, opposite the shopping mall. The sound insulation may be average, it is better for the dragon boat race, and the landlords next door who came to practice were a bit noisy.
