Hotel Guantanamo

A hotel that has neither cleanliness, everything dirty nor service in Europe, the pensions are much better anywhere in the Caribbean, better than Cuba, even Haiti, the hotels are better, there are no ice creams or soft drinks, what there is are lights with blackouts

A complete disaster. The rooms are totally run down, the windows are so dirty you can't see out of them, the bathroom is also completely messed up and nothing works properly. Black mold on the shower joints is also a dream and a bar of soap for washing your hands is also overrated. For breakfast there is a pre-prepared plate with 3 slices of cucumber, 1 piece of melon and something fried. The staff are extremely unfriendly, the receptionist at the reception blatantly hit on my husband right in front of my nose and there is no water, no beer, not even any non-alcoholic drink at the bar. Totally run down and absolutely not recommended. Luckily we were only there for 2 nights.

Terrible dining room Cocktails ohhhh 1st and 2nd floor without anything working!!!! The guy for the reservation (terrible (The hotel management does not exist…. In the room there is no more air than a fan and there is a lot of dust on the furniture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We spent a week at the hotel and the experience was not at all what we expected. We were staying on the fourth floor and the second day the elevator broke down. I have to say that I travel with a baby carriage. After two days without an elevator, we asked at the reception if they planned to fix it and nobody knew anything about it. At no point was any help offered to us and we had to fend for ourselves. It remained broken until the day we checked out of the hotel. As for the room, nothing special. In the bathroom it lost water every time we used the cistern. I think for the price you pay they could at least have a small fridge in the rooms to keep the water cold. I cannot speak about the restoration since we never had breakfast there.
