We had the most incredible experience at Guarda Lodge in Engadine. The location truly is a hidden gem that I couldn't stop raving about to my travel group. Guarda is a special place that left a lasting impression on us. Additionally, Thomas, the manager and owner, was outstanding - incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. I highly recommend Guarda Lodge to anyone looking for a unique and welcoming retreat in Engadine.

Herrliche Zimmer mit grandiosem Alpenblick über 2 Riesenfenster oder Balkon sehr schön mit Holz und sehr sauber im schönsten Dorf des Engadin Guarda. Tolles Frühstück und leckeres einfaches Abendessen aus der Region mit gutem Wein. Sehr professionelle Bewirtung mit tausend Tips für Wandern und Ausflüge. Wir haben vielleicht einen der schönsten Frühlinge mit saftigen bunten Wiesen und vielen tollen Wanderpfaden erlebt. Tiptop auch die Ladestation für das Elektroauto. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Well thought out innovative concept, very guest friendly and generous, not just usual offers. Fine breakfast with local products, individual room service depending on needs, very nice rooms without unnecessary frills. The food offered in the evening is good and moderately priced. The only thing: maybe throw out the 100% polyester bed covers, even if they are easy to clean. But 100% cotton covers are available.

We had an incredibly nice stay at the Guarda Lodge: a very nice room with a great view of the mountains, delicious breakfast and dinner and very friendly staff. Thank you very much, we enjoyed it very much.

My wife and I enjoyed 4 nights at Guarda Lodge. Thomas was the consummate host! For 3 nights we stayed in Room Macun, with amazing views to the Swiss Dolomites and down the valley towards Lavin & Zernez. We had to change rooms to Room Tuoi the 4th night, which was even better! Not quite the same views, but larger and with views out the back to the garden and mountains. The lodge is super clean and new, beds were comfortable, bathroom/shower outstanding and underground parking was so convenient. Breakfast buffet was outstanding and had delicious breads, croissants, birchermuesli, etc. Hiking path to Piz Buin is right out the door and the village of Guarda about 400 meters away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back to Guarda Lodge!

The best jet lag cure ever…….Our first stop on a trip to Switzerland was perfect in every way. Charming village. Beautiful facility. Great meals (dinner is offered as an option). Excellent hands-on proprietor. We’ll be back.

The rooms are super clean, comfortable and quiet. Very nice breakfast and very hospitable hosts. I even forgot my jacket in the room upon departure, and the host drove down to the train station to return it to me. I highly recommend this Lodge!

Small, modern top hotel in a panoramic location in a picturesque mountain village. The hotel is well run and equipped. Very attentive, friendly and helpful hosts. Dinner is offered and is of very good quality.
