Hostal Villa Toscana

The outdoor space looked terrible. Service was terrible. Told me they would give me breakfast to go, did not happen. Room was soooo small.

I have one issue with this place and it's a big one. I booked a room with private bath. Well, my room does have a private bath, but it's across the hall. I travel for my job and have literally stayed at thousands of hotels and I've never encountered a private bathroom that wasn't inside the room. In my opinion this is false advertising. I would have booked somewhere else if I knew that every time I wanted to use the bathroom I would need to get dressed. I would be very wary about booking here.

We stayed here for two nights before catching our flight home. We arrived at night and it was a bit confusing but once inside the security gate, this safe, clean inn was adequate for what we needed. The rooms are quite basic (but appropriate considering the price) and they have a nice courtyard, where the friendly staff served a good breakfast. We easily took Ubers to a GC museum and the central city, and access to the airport was quick and easy on the hostel’s shuttle.

The room was dirty, and a cockroach crawled on our beds. When we went to complain, they said that it happens when cockroaches follow you from the street. It was disappointing.

I like the convenience of being so close to the airport , the place is small but clean

My family stayed here for 1 night as we had an early flight the next morning to Flores. The entire staff was incredibly friendly. They were extremely helpful with advice and getting us to and from the airport, which is only minutes away. The place is located in a safe spot. Our room was cute and impeccably clean. I would highly recommend this place.

I just stayed here for three nights as a solo woman traveling. Don't think, book it! It is super clean, nice and close to the airport and very safe. I really enjoyed my stay. The staff is wonderful and so is the breakfast. Make sure to enjoy your breakfast in their lovely yard. The eggs and pancakes especially.

Receptionist very helpful and efficient

I had a difficult time emailing a clear reply to our arrival and the transportation. Once I persisted, the driver was there and it cost 100Q, yikes! To go just a few blocks. However, the "house" is behind a gate and I felt safe. Our room was dilapidated but clean. The shower head was literally taped on and the amoire doors were hanging broken. Early check out and the shuttle back was included (no, we paid for it yesterday as part of that ridiculous price). To go breakfast was a yogurt, juice and a pack of cookies...better than nothing. Overall, we should have stayed at the Hilton. Cannot recommend this for adults.
