Hotel Ramada

Centro de Guayaquil Guayaquil|1.24km from Mural
Guayaquil in Ecuador, if not for the special situation of 2020, Chinese people rarely pass. The hotel is located on the Malecon Riverside (across a local main road) by the famous local Guayas River. Before arriving in Gua, I contacted the hotel in advance to arrange a pick-up by email. After leaving the airport, I could find myself holding a sign. The pick-up fee was paid to the front desk of the hotel at $10, and the driver gave a tip of $2. The superior twin room booked is large in size, and the room is also equipped with a small refrigerator and a table, and slippers are not provided. There are wall-mounted air conditioners. The front desk of the hotel can speak English and has a very good attitude. After arriving, I found that the business center was closed due to the epidemic, but the front desk could still help with printing. There is an open space with a roof on the second floor of the hotel, with tables and chairs, and a swimming pool next to it, which coincides with Christmas and a Christmas tree. The hotel provides a free breakfast buffet, which is changed every day. The beef there is very good. There are a lot of people in the breakfast room on weekends, so pay attention to protection. The only minor problem is that our room is close to the road, which is a bit noisy at night, especially because of cultural reasons, the locals like to drive by modified cars with super loud speakers all the way at night, but just get used to it. It only takes about 10 minutes to walk from the hotel to the city center, such as the City Hall or Iguana Park. You only need to cross a road along the river. There is also a supermarket called Mini nearby to buy food and daily necessities, but there are many restaurants suitable for Chinese people. Less, usually the solution is to order takeaway in the hotel room, recommend the takeaway software Glovo, English interface, some dishes have pictures. Uber is recommended for calling out. Overall I am very satisfied with this hotel.

First I arrived, they offered me a different price than the one written on booking, that is, I literally had to pay (200,000 Colombian pesos, that is, 55 dollars and I paid 70 dollars) then the internet went down 3 times in the 2 days that I was there... They also told me that breakfast was included, and the receptionist told me that there was no breakfast since the pandemic, which was not properly written! And the most beautiful thing, finally, the lady called me at 1 o'clock so that I could leave the hotel because I had to leave at 12 o'clock... Okay, I understand that I had to leave at that time, but for all the disappointment that I had accumulated, it would have been more delicate to wait a little!

River Garden Hotel + Suites

The location is not bad, the Cocoa Museum is downstairs. Opposite is malecón 2000, and you can take a walk at night. The infinity pool on the roof should be a net red punching point, and the scenery is not bad. There are not many types of breakfast, the rooms are average, and the river view is not very nice because of the cloudy day. There is no very high-end feeling, 12-17 Building should be a hotel apartment.
Wyndham Guayaquil Puerto Santa Ana

Puerto Santa Ana
This was the first time I was staying at this hotel and will definitely return. The location is perfect in the Puerto Santa Ana area, near restaurants, coffee shop, bars, etc. Most importantly, I felt very safe in this area. The service was good, except that the first time I had breakfast there, I was practically chased by the waiter to pay. I told him to put the check in my room and he mentioned that they didn't have a card on file. I had submitted my card when I checked in but I guess it was not registered by the receptionist for additional charges. I told him I would bring the card down. Well, he was already waiting for me by my door when I got to the room. It was quite annoying the lack of trust. I was not trying to walkout on the check! Anyways, the next time I went to have breakfast I made sure to bring my card. I found breakfast to be expensive by the way. You can find cheaper food around the area. I would recommend the hotel for its location as the rooms are ok but found them a bit outdated. I thought it was very nice that they offer hotel transfers at no cost. My driver waited for me for a bit since my flight had been delayed, That was really appreciated.
Hotel Palace Guayaquil

On Hotels.com picture 2 has a beach. This is not a beach hotel. It isn’t on a beach or near a beach. Picture 9 is the first picture of the exterior with a large, stately palacial building - which is not the hotel. Picture 10 is the second exterior picture- but it’s not the exterior of the hotel, unless they mean the exterior of the hotel is several blocks away. This is a clean, attractive, cheap, comfortable enough hotel near some fun places on a ramshackled street, looking out on to ugly buildings and feels a little sketchy at night. It’s not an old, grand palace on a beautiful beach. It would be a reasonable place to stay. The staff is helpful and friendly. The breakfast is good. The price is unbeatable. However, it’s easy to find a much nicer hotel for only al little bit more. It’s shameful that they put those pictures in their photos, leading viewers to believe the place was something other than what it is. It’s even more shameful that reviewers give 4 and 5 star reviews like it’s a fabulous resort destination!
