Very good time spent with family. We keep this address in memory. Simple but delicious cuisine.

We enjoyed the hotel! Unfortunately, no catering is offered. Nice, comfortable room, bathroom big enough. Art on the walls. Our room was on the first floor with sloping ceilings - as was the bathroom (a bit inconvenient for the toilet and shower). Very friendly reception, very nice bar, breakfast room, beautiful enchanted terrace with a large garden. Good breakfast with very friendly staff. On the second evening, we got a selection of cheeses from the local fromagerie, a baguette from the bakery and enjoyed this with a bottle of wine from the hotel bar on the terrace... wonderfully relaxed...

We enjoyed this beautiful hotel for a few days. The owner and his wife are very friendly and we had a very nice chat with the owner, Mr. William, on the terrace in the evening. The room was large and very nice, with a wonderful view of the huge park. The breakfast was very good and in the evenings, if you book in time, you can enjoy the owner's delicious cooking. The restaurant is like a castle. There is very good parking on the hotel grounds. We will definitely come back here.

Very beautiful estate. Enriched with various cultures. Each piece takes us on a journey. The owners are adorable. Very comfortable and spacious rooms. Very decent lunch. The bar is incredibly varied. Beautiful area.

A charming place full of surprises from the start to the end of your stay. We spent several nights and each time we looked into the rooms new details appeared to us. A calm and perfect place to find yourself and feel like you're in another era. A very pleasant welcome and attention to customers. Let's not forget the bar which allows you to chat while moderately savoring one of the bar's multiple choices.

A great a**osphere like you no longer find in hotels. With our friends, we felt very good there. Jazzy music, sumptuous surroundings, bright and comfortable rooms (top bedding), more than sufficient breakfast. Everything is clean, well kept. Restaurant suggestions are safe. The bar is also nice with good wines on offer. We will recommend it to those around us and we will come back!

To end our vacation in Alsace, we booked a night in this hotel which seemed, from the photos and various reviews, charming and magnificent. The reality was quite different. A basic welcome (the person at reception was not mean, but unobtrusive). It is upon entering the room that the charm disappears definitively. A strong musty smell accompanied us throughout our stay, despite the window being open (including in the bathroom, but there it was a "wet dog" smell). The carpet probably lived through the First World War: around ten stains per cm2... (I don't mind customers not being careful, but when the carpet is sanded at this stage, it means it needs to be changed ). What about the walls? Wallpaper has the same experience as carpet... (the paint crumbles and is yellowed by the sun, when it is not the wallpaper itself that falls off). Stains on the furniture and a broken and unrepaired drawer. A Halloween decoration larger than life (5 cobwebs at arm's height... 1 web ok, it can happen, but the cleaning is not done often). In the bathroom, mold around the bathtub and 1 hair hanging around... The mattress wasn't that bad, we slept OK. The next day we had the surprise of breakfast. No one to welcome us when we arrived at breakfast. Looking at the other guests, we realized that we were in the right place to eat and that we had to sit down and set the table ourselves (no tables set). So we took our cutlery and placed them on a tablecloth covered in crumbs. There was indeed a lady who appeared as quickly as she disappeared, as well as a child who cleared the tables (wasn't he at school?). In terms of food quality, we really had the impression of eating supermarket pastries and cold meats. We wondered if having children (7 and 9 years old) had led us to a room like this? Because seeing certain photos in other comments, it is clearly not the same standard. But it's still a 3 star and there shouldn't be that much difference between the rooms. Of all the hotels (4) that we visited during this vacation, this is the most expensive and the least maintained with the least service. Little advice: if after this review, you still decide to book a room, avoid room 218.
