Stopped here for a one nighter on our way south from Calais. 8 hour drive about half way . Easy to find just off the N145 with Secure parking. Inside the whole place was Impressively clean. Reception staff double as bar staff for our evening arrival and pre bed drinks and were very pleasant company. The room was spacious clean and more than suitable . Morning shower was great with lashings of hot water, down to a fine spread of continental breakfast. And on our way. All in all a good stop very reasonably priced at 140. Euro.

Good welcome on arrival (free drink and possibility of preparing a coffee or herbal tea, tea in the room), very clean room, quiet, room larger than in many Ibis Styles hotels, note space to put a PC and work. No problem with parking spaces. Free drinks if you eat at the restaurant located opposite the hotel

Hôtel de 56 chambres sur 3 étages à l'enseigne Ibis Style (anciennement Kyriad), situé dans une zone commerciale à la sortie n° 48 (Guéret centre) de la N145. Le centre ville est à une quinzaine de minutes à pied. L'offre de restauration sur place étant limitée (comme au centre ville d'ailleurs), une voiture est quasiment indispensable. Chambre supérieure avec terrasse, à la décoration moderne et aux tons chauds. La terrasse donne malheureusement sur un rond point et une rue très passante. La chambre est bien équipée avec machine Nespresso et mini réfrigérateur. Bonne literie. Salle de bains avec baignoire. Petit-déjeuner conforme aux standards Ibis Style avec la machine pour le jus d'orange frais et une seule spécialité locale (gâteau creusois). Pas d'autre jus de fruits que le jus d'orange frais (du jus de pomme aurait été le bienvenu) et pas d'œufs brouillés. Parking extérieur gratuit (fermé après 22 heures - accès avec code) ou souterrain payant. Accueil professionnel. Bon rapport qualité-prix. Bien sauf la localisation.

Très bon séjour, sauf au niveau du bruit de la circulation l'hôtel étant à côté de la nationale 147 qui connaît un gros trafic routier de Poids lourds, il aurait été judicieux de faire installer des huisseries anti-bruit ou des triples vitrages car pas facile de dormir sans des boules quies
