My husband and I stayed with our 12 year old from the US and we all loved our visit. Great hospitality, great food and convenient location to Bayeaux and the DDay sites. Highly recommend it!

Chateau Saint Gilles is a lovely place. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and so pleasant to walk around. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Gorgeous property and lovely staff Peaceful and serene Loved the hot tub and pool altho hot tub could have been hotter and sauna didn't work in the evening Excellent breakfast Only disappointment was dinner as Some menu items were great but some only OK, the convenience of having both meals on property was terrific

This is a gem of a property! My family (husband and 2 teens) enjoyed every moment — the rooms were spacious and well appointed, the grounds were beautiful; the pool, sauna, and hot tub were amazing. We only wish we had more time to spend at the property. The staff were attentive and very kind.

We enjoyed our short stay at Chateau Saint Gilles! The owners have created a beautiful, quiet home for travelers of all ages. We particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast every morning, with fresh bread and pastries, fruit and local fare.

Great property near Bayeux. Easy to find, with a private parking area. Nice staff, excellent breakfast and dinner. Wonderful room, garden and Spa with sauna, jacuzzi & pool. Simply perfect to enjoy Normandie

Absolutely perfect place to stay! Close to Bayeux, the chateau is beautiful and very well-maintained, on a very large estate. Our room was beautifully decorated, quiet and dark with a very comfortable bed and top quality bed linens and comforter. The bathroom was brand new, gleaming, with generous amenities. The main building reception has freshly baked cookies, water with lemon and mint. Staff is welcoming, friendly, and very helpful. Highly recommend

We needed a place to stay for a few days in Bayeux as our tour group was planning to visit the Normandy WW2 sites. This Chateau was exactly what we needed after experiencing the busyness of city life in London and Paris. This place is nestled in the countryside of Bayeux. The buildings and grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. It is very quiet and peaceful. The rooms are spacious with all the needed amenities. The choice of wines and beverages was very good. The food was EXCELLENT. The vegetables are grown on site and are fresh. There is only one washer and dryer, so if that amenity is needed you may need to drive into town. We absolutely loved our stay here and if we’re ever back in this area, we WILL return. I highly recommend this place.
