Find Guest house in Chiang Mai

The hotel is hard to find because there is no sign at all, and the location on Google Maps is wrong. I searched for ten minutes and asked the locals to find it. The hotel is self-service online check-in, and there is no formal front desk reception. The whole process is self-service. There is no security at night. The advantage of the room is that it is indeed beautifully decorated, and some rooms have flowering trees outside the window, which is very beautiful. There is noise from the construction of the next building, and the room is not very soundproof, so the people in the next room can hear the conversation clearly.

The decoration and room style of the homestay are very girlish, especially the tiles in the room. Although it is a windowless room, it is complete with all the organs and the bed is clean and comfortable. In addition to the design of the toilet sink is not very reasonable, the rest is very good. The clothes can be dryed to the balcony on the roof. But the balcony is unscreened and does not rule out the possibility of raining at night. Auntie is also very polite, will ask if you need to clean the room, if you don't need it, you will put paper towels and two bottles of water at the door, will not disturb the guests. Speaking of the location, although on the edge of the ancient city, I personally feel that it is very convenient to have a grab anywhere. The location of the hotel driver can accurately arrive and pick up, so I don't feel remote. Walking to Tha Pae Gate and Sunday night market are completely ok, and it won't be noisy to live here. 7:30-10:00 Every morning is breakfast time. The boss will say it clearly before check-in. The breakfast variety is quite good for this price accommodation. The toast instant noodles are served with various sauces, coffee, milk and hot water. I love toast bread here, very good! Finally, the little fat brother at the front desk should be the boss, very polite, will chat with us and will also carry our luggage for us, in short, I am very happy to live here for two days, Chiang Mai is a leisurely city, it is worth going again, if you stay, you don't have to consider it, recommend everyone to come here!

The first room we received had cake layers that came through open space behind broken stones on the wall, a flooding toilet, loose stones on the floor, moved to another room at 23:00, no eye closed. Very hard beds, extreme noise load from other rooms. Shouting, loudly, closed doors. Got through the whole night. When watched, asked if they wanted to do something about it (the hotel's rule is that it should be quiet after 23 hours). There was nothing to do with it. Status of maintenance very bad, in both accommodations. Dangerous stairs to the stacking beds, loose parts of beds, broken fineer layers on which you wrapped your hand. Elektra cable with steel cv tubes drawn, unsitting contact boxes. No lighting in bed in the 1st building. No contact boxes. In the t****e building. Not-exit blocked by the storage of all sorts of rhythms (matches, boxes, etc.) in the staircase. Pool does not match the photos placed. Settle in a parking garage and is absolutely no swimming pool. All the photos of this hotel seem to be years ago and manipulated as regards light invasion and width. Absolutely no advisor and not at all with children. So we left earlier. Hopeful refund, eventually received half.

A joy to have stayed in this incredibly charming hotel. An ideal location for visiting on foot, a restaurant in the hotel and attentive staff. Always there to help you or provide you with information. The iced tea with hibiscus on arrival was delicious. A warm and relaxing welcome. My room overlooked a garden with a superb view and birdsong. This is exactly what I was looking for. The room is very good. When I entered the room, it smelled so good. The room was bigger than I thought. The bed ****** my soul. The pillows were soft. The balcony was wide. There was also a kitchen area. The location is close to many tourist attractions. Just walk into the alley and you will arrive. I will definitely come back to stay again next time.

It's very nice income hotel or I and my lovely lies probably and coffee cocoa very yummy and have a swimming good I like room and my friend lies half room tool lock half to and sleeping sweet dreams I like very much thank you

This is our second visit to Chiang Mai. This time my wife and I stayed in The White Elephant Home for two nights. The location is great, very close to old city, only several minutes’ walk. I prefer to stay outside the old city for quiet, clean and comfortable neighbourhood. We booked a room for two and they upgraded us to a family room for three. The room is spacious, new and clean with a lovely balcony. The interior and exterior match the photos and description on the website. Breakfast is freshly cooked and is delicious. We enjoyed it in the lovely garden. The staff are nice and helpful, they have friendly smiles all the time. They speak good English and provided useful information to us in buying Green bus ticket to Chiang Rai. I didn't drive this time but I saw them providing car covers to guests and helped to cover and to remove it. Will definitely stay in The White Elephant Home again if we visit Chiang Mai again. Highly recommend!

It was perfect for us at a reasonable price. It was very close to the markets and the pubs. Plus, the house/property has an old-timey charm. The room was cozy. The bathroom was a bit compact, but it was super clean. So, no complaints. And the employees there speak in English. So thats a big plus!

lovely, quiet, cosy hostel. we agreed it was best place we stayed so far! the staff are so helpful and friendly and willing to help any way they can. the rooms (we stayed in 8 & 12) are spacious, beds comfortable, good shower and air con! downstairs is a lovely area to relax too. the wifi did not work for me on my phone in our room but my fiancé had no issues. would stay again, thank you rustic river team for an enjoyable stay and knowing we would have a wonderful place to sleep at night! 🥰 Laura & Aaron

It was an amazing stay - 2 night's. Room very clean, air condition was great, the garden around was absolutely gorgeous! The owner super nice and always happy. We could leave our luggage after stay until the flight in the evening. Also great base to walk to chiang mai. 20 by walk to center and 15 min walk to street food, mcd,.. I recommend for all.
