Brilliant for hiking and visiting Guildford.
Staff were pleasant and friendly.
The food is quite expensive, though and initially I was charged for a glass of wine that was part of my menu. No fuss about it, however, and the bill was rectified.

Beautiful room. Clean and tidy. The bed was like sleeping on a bed of clouds. Staff were lovely. Quiet pub too, not noisy at all.

An attractive building in a pretty village. The rooom was large, and charmingly decorated and furnished. However you'll be living out of your suitcase. There was one short hanging rail, but not a cupboard or drawer in sight. The restaurant is pricey but the food and service are excellent, with a decent choice for vegetarians.

Absolutely delicious breakfasts and excellent flat whites (love good coffee) eaten beside the river in the spring sunshine. Highly recommend the vegetarian full English. Completely clean plates, everything delicious. Attentive, friendly and prompt service. Thank-you, we’ll be back soon.

We stayed for one night. The room (5) we had was good but in truth nothing special. It was quiet, away from both the road and the pub. What made the stay was the Drummond team who were wonderful, a very good breakfast and last but not least the wonderful location. We will stay again if we are in the area.

We chose this property as it was in walking distance of the Silent Pool Gin Distillery. The property had a lovely garden.
