We initially booked this hotel (4 people for 2 rooms) with modest expectations, as our stay was only for two nights. Based on the reviews mentioning clean rooms and good breakfast, as well as the attractive photos and convenient location, we decided it would be a suitable choice. However, our experience far exceeded our expectations. Firstly, the hotel made a genuine effort to accommodate our special requests made during booking. We had asked for rooms that were close together, easily accessible, and quiet, as we were traveling with two elderly family members. Upon check-in, we were pleased to learn that our requests had been fully taken into consideration. This thoughtful attention to detail made a very positive impression. Secondly, the level of service provided was exceptional. The staff added me on WeChat and offered what felt like a personal butler service, providing all necessary information about the hotel and proactively checking whether we needed any assistance. Their responsiveness and warm attitude demonstrated a true commitment to guest satisfaction and made our stay very pleasant. Breakfast was also a highlight. There was a good variety of dishes, everything was clean and well presented, and the staff managed the service efficiently. It was a delightful start to each day. The only minor disappointment was during the traditional Chinese fan-making activity. The staff member in charge displayed a rather indifferent attitude, offering little guidance or explanation when we arrived. As I had two English friends with me, including an 88-year-old gentleman, I asked a few questions in Chinese to help them understand the process, but the responses were brief and unhelpful, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. Despite this, we chose to complete the session for the experience, particularly for our guests visiting Guilin for the first time. That said, this minor incident did not overshadow the overall outstanding experience. I would like to commend the hotel’s redemption staff, particularly a young gentleman who provided exemplary service—assisting us with various requests such as moving a safe into our room, sharing local travel and dining recommendations, and even helping with small personal tasks. His professionalism and dedication truly went above and beyond. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with excellent amenities and even high-quality toiletries and paper products. In conclusion, despite one small issue, the hotel’s exceptional service, attention to detail, and comfortable accommodations made our stay a thoroughly enjoyable one. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay again in the future.
