Nettes Hotel, mit tollen Ausblick. Das Frühstück hat uns sehr gut gefallen und das Abendessen war absolut hervorragend. Leider waren wir nur 2 Tage dort und haben das Abendessen erst an dem zweiten Abend geschafft.

Fabulous hotel with the most amazingly helpful staff. Shout out to Conny on Reception, you were just wonderful when we arrived, thank you! Peaceful, calm and tranquil would best describe the hotels ambiance. The gardens with their fruit trees are enticing. This is a place to re-charge your batteries and relax, be looked after and eat great food. We experienced no issues whatsoever with Wi-Fi as has been mentioned in posts elsewhere. On site restaurant offers an excellent menu cooked to an equally excellent standard. If you have mobility issues, it might be worth noting that only the junior suites have showers, other rooms have a shower over the bath. On the down side, beds are tired and very hard but the topper provided by the housekeeping staff certainly improved our sleep quality. Looking forward to visiting again before the end of the year, fingers crossed.

We stayed at the Finca Salamanca for 5 nights at the end of April to beginning of May on a Half Board basis. In my view this place is a real "find". Located about a mile from Guimar with plenty of car parking, but in a rural location. The tranquillity hits on you straight away and the staff are all very professional, bur friendly and helpful especially in the Restaurant. In fact the meals provided are a reason to return in themselves - Breakfast is a good buffet style, but the evening meal is full Waiter Service from a full and varied menu - I have eaten at all sorts of establishments all over the world and I cannot think of any where that the food would be better than here - unbelievable - the restaurant is open to the public although not that busy - food prices are quoted on the menu giving an indication of the value of the half board. The Finca is situated in extensive and attractive grounds with large areas of avocados and views of the mountains and the sea. There is a very pleasant heated swimming pool which is spotlessly clean and well maintained as is the whole Finca and grounds. Our room was clean and comfortable containing super king bed, flat screen TV, table and chairs, settee and coffee table, etc. Large Bathroom with complimentary toiletries, Shower, wash basin, WC, etc. Outside a terrace with Sunbeds, table and chairs. There are no coffee making facilities although a kettle will be supplied free of charge from Reception and tea / coffee are available near the Reception Area all day. There is a Room Safe for which a key is provided for a charge of 3 Euros a day - maybe this should be free. It would be wise to have a hire car - although Guimar is only about a mile away the walk is either uphill or downhill in both directions. The roads in Tenerife are very busy and parking everywhere you visit is not easy especially in towns which is a down side. However I strongly advise a visit to The Finca Salamanca - you will not regret it !!

Lovely peaceful location, great to use as a base for seeing the island and good walks. Lovely pool, unheated but great for a pre breakfast swim. Breakfast was excellent, great and varied choices. We only ate in the restaurant one evening the food and service were really good, but it was very quiet, maybe have some background music. It would also be good to have the option either in the room or in the salon to get a tea or coffee during the day. The fact that wifi was only available in the salon was actually good. All the staff were really lovely and very helpful.

We stayed here for one night . We found the place clean the staff friendly.. We used the restaurant for diner and the food was good as was the breakfast. . We walked into the town that was 10 min or so away.

Wir waren 10 Tage vom 4. bis 14. November 2023 in der Finca Salamanca in Guimar. Wir waren ursprünglich etwas skeptisch, ob es hier genauso schön sein würde wie im Hotel San Roque in Garachico, wo wir zuvor waren, zumal wir uns hier auf Tripadvisor auch die kritischen Bewertungen angesehen hatten und der Zimmerpreis hier nur halb so hoch war wie in Garachico. Wir wurden dann aber sehr positiv überrascht – alles, was von einzelnen Bewertern bemängelt wurde, traf bei uns nicht zu. Stattdessen wurden es für uns wunderschöne 10 Tage zu einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Finca Salamanca liegt etwas außerhalb von Guimar an der Straße zur Autobahn in einem großen Park mit tropischen Bäumen und Avocado-Pflanzen. Für Ausflüge mit dem Mietwagen (den braucht es hier) eine ideale Lage. Parkplätze sind reichlich vorhanden. Der Empfang an der Rezeption war äußerst freundlich, alles wurde von der charmanten Rezeptionistin ausführlich und verständlich erklärt, einschließlich des kleinen Schlüsselbundes nicht nur fürs Zimmer, sondern auch für das Haupttor an der Straße und für den Poolbereich. Wir hatten ein Standarddoppelzimmer, das zweckmäßig mit allem eingerichtet war, was man braucht (einschließlich Safe) und das auch recht geräumig war. Die Betten waren sehr gut, das Badezimmer war auch o.k. Wir hatten insofern Glück, als wir Zimmer 212 bekommen hatten, das nahe am Pool lag – der Frühbadestunde stand nichts im Wege. Und abends saß man vor dem Zimmer auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf das Gebirge. Und überhaupt dieser Pool. Zwar nicht riesig, aber doch so ca. 8*8 m und gut temperiert. Da schwimmt man dann halt 100 Bahnen … . Die herrliche Aussicht wie in einem Amphitheater mit direktem Blick auf das Gebirge und die Sternwarten auf dem Teide-Plateau. Wir haben den Pool mehrfach am Tage genutzt. Auch das Restaurant der Finca fanden wir ausgezeichnet. Schon das Frühstücksbuffet war äußerst reichhaltig. Für das Abendessen wurde uns beim Empfang von der Rezeption empfohlen, einen Tisch zu reservieren. Die Abendkarte hat uns sehr angesprochen. Manche Bewerter vor uns haben bemängelt, dass die Auswahl zu klein sei. Das fanden wir aber ganz und gar nicht. Gefreut hat uns, dass man die Gerichte teilen konnte. Für uns als Senioren mit geringerem Aufnahmevermögen passend. Dafür haben wir der reichhaltigen Weinauswahl gut zugesprochen, zumal die Weinpreise für ein Restaurant moderat waren (Fußnote: Die tineferischen Weine sind ausgezeichnet, trocken und zugleich säurearm. Wer auf Teneriffa herumfährt, sollte nicht versäumen, auf den Sonntagsmärkten, bei den Winzergenossenschaften und beim Weinmuseum in El Sauzal vorbeizuschauen.). Das Restaurantpersonal war übrigens ebenfalls äußerst zuvorkommend und effizient. Noch ein Wort zu den Wochenendveranstaltungen wie Hochzeiten etc. Das scheint ein fester Bestandteil des Geschäftsmodells der Finca zu sein. Weit entfernt in der Plantagenanlage liegt ein großes Festzelt. Von dort hört man eigentlich ohnehin nichts

Estupendo el sitio,muy tranquilo y los jardines son una maravilla,las habitaciones tienen pequeños patios exteriores que me encantaron.. ... Todo muy cuidado y limpio..... además el personal es encantador , todos super amables Espero volver !

Au calme, dans des jardins, bâtisse traditionnelle pour le restaurant entourée d”une vingtaine de chambres très grandes. Piscine spacieuse entourée de manguiers. Restaurant et petit déjeuner succulents. Personnel serviable et sympathique.

Nous n'avons passé que 3 nuits dans cet hôtel (en demi pension). Nous avons pris la chambre de base, confortable et spacieuse (40 m2), située près de la piscine. Notre séjour à été des plus agréable, troublé simplement par l'irrespect de certains vacanciers se permettant de parler très fort en pleine nuit. Je conseillerais une chambre un peu plus écartée du bâtiment principal et de la piscine si on recherche le calme et la tranquillité. Mention spéciale au restaurant proposant un menu gastronomique dont les plats sont délicieux. Le cadre est pittoresque et le personnel très accueillant et sympathique. Il serait dommage de choisir cet hôtel sans passer par son restaurant. Les jardins sont également un plus : des avocatiers à l'entrée et un parc très fleuri par ailleurs (laurier roses, flamboyants et même des tiarés...) Pour finir, l'hôtel, même s'il est situé près d'une route passante, est très tranquille et situé à proximité de la belle Candelaria et de Santa Cruz.

Menú vegano para una boda CUTRE, PATÉTICO, BOCHORNOSO. Lo peor que nos han servido en un evento así nunca. Primero: láminas de pepino transparentes. No se podían ni pinchar con el tenedor. Principal: Falafel, sí, sí, como lees. Lo que compras en el Lidl a 3€. Postre: lo más cutre, cutre y cutre que pudieron hacer. 1/2 plátano y 3 fresas en rodajas. Tal cual, y sin ponerse rojos. En internet hay millones de recetas veganas dignas de un evento así, pero ni se molestaron. Y encima carísimo, que me consta. Si quieres un menú vegano de otro nivel reserva en GOMERALIA, trato y comida exquisita. Por cierto, en la boda no se acercaron a preguntarnos qué tal, supongo que sabían lo que les hubiera caído.

Magnifique hôtel, dans un style « hacienda » au milieu d’un parc arboré d’avocatier, manguier et cactus. Les appartements ou petits bungalow sont spacieux, propres et bien équipés. La cuisine est de grande qualité avec des plats variés, cuisinés maison et à faire rougir de nombreux restaurants « haut de gamme ». Nous avons passé une excellente semaine en famille là bas. Le personnel est charmant avec une mention spéciale à Conception à l’accueil (parle parfaitement français) toujours souriante, serviable et sympathique; ainsi qu’à Daniel le formidable et excellent chef du restaurant. Merci d’avoir continué à faire de notre séjour un merveilleux souvenir.
