Lumbinis Grand Hotel

Hello All, I had one of the worst experience in this restaurant as compared to the restaurants I had been before. To start with- 1. Order was delayed by 1Hr. 2. Waiter did not even bother to serve the ordered food. 3. Worst ever Biryani that I ate spending 750/- that did not even fill stomach of three. 4. Chicken drumstick costing 360/- had 8 pieces covered with capsicum and wet Onion used to fill the plate. 5. Biryani’s Curry and Curd had flavors of Turmeric that did not taste good. 6. My dad ordered Veg Biryani costing 240/- that had no proper taste and no curry to compensate the same. Overall I feel that I wasted my 1500/- on my Anniversary. Think before you choose..

I am regular customer of Lumbini grand I visit here twice every year. Room service and reception persons are very polite. Excellent 5 star rating.i give them 5 start for all services........ And its rates are very cheap but ambience of room is like 5 star hotel

Had visited Hotel Grand on a business trip where I met Mr. Mashak the f and b manager who had taken care of me very professionally. His knowledge about food and his suggestions regarding the cusine is too good. Plz ask for Mashak when you visit here....

I cheked in the Hotel on 07/12/2021 with Family. Thi is my second stay in this Hotel in the last 4 eyars. This time stay was not al impressive unlike the first one- which was memorabel adn good feeling. Property is located in good frontage but rear side ( window view) is full of garbage ( any way this is not the problem of hotel- so do not open window). Rooms and furnsihings have run down and no upkeep. bathroms are spacious but water taps have rusted due to poor water qualty, for which hotel has done nothing. Batroom interior is not convinient to keep toilet and make up kit. Room servcie is poor. Morning till 7.45 am , you will not gt a cup of tea. Every morning for 5 days of stay, i had to go out on the road to drink tea. Breakfast is of poor qulaity, attention to need is missing. Staff in the restuarant like Hotel itlsef are run down on their face in the morning. Reception staff are curteous but rest all staff are crude in their outlook. Overall good property,well located but poorly or carelessly managed. Not recommended as first option.

Good: I stayed with spouse for one night on 10/11/2022. Booked the room on email. Stayed in club classroom, on direct payment by credit card basis. No advance payment was demanded (1) Booking- response like enquiry, reply email, clarifications- were excellent and fast.(2) Rooms- club class room- satisfactory. What was missing: (minor slips) like no extra towel, though double occupancy, In room Tea making facility- poor kettle, poor consumables etc. bath mat in bath room, floor cleaning towel in bath room, handtowel, (3) Room Cleanliness: Acceptable (not so fresh feeling) (4) Food (breakfast) : Complimentary, excellent south Indian food (5) Staff : Vey courteous, prompt service (6) Reception: while check in - poor lady receptionist, confused, allotted wrong room, in spite advance booking. However while checking out Counter staff was Mr.Channbasaveswara- excellent, efficient handling of check out, polite. (7) Parking: on road with security present all night (8) location: excellent city centere (9) overall cleanliness: though ok, needs improvement and replacement of few furniture and furnishings, lobby area poorly lit, not impressive. (10) Overall- Acceptable, not Wow!! Regards DA Biradar
