The Hampton Inn in Guthrie has a beautiful view, overlooking part of the city in a nice location close to the interstate. We had stayed there one or two years ago, and there is a noticeable decline in upkeep and cleanliness. Our bathroom could have been cleaner and it was also in need of repairs to the baseboards, it looked shabby. Concerned observations for a Hampton Inn and Suites.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. We were able to check in several hours early. The hotel was not very busy. The shower was not as clean as I’d like. There was hair on the shampoo bottles and the conditioner was almost empty. but the reason I’d choose to stay elsewhere is the barndoor style bathroom door. There were gaps preventing any thought of privacy. You could see in the bathroom with the door shut and there was no lock.

I actually had a rough check in. And rough is putting it politely. I spent $129 for one king bed for me and my mom. We go to check in and apparently they never got the payment? I had to pay another $96 to stay. I had no other options. I have both recipes of payment. It was absolutely horrendous and I don’t blame the hotel at all. I blame this app. The hotel was ok but this app started my stay off the worst way possible.
