Hotel Atithi

This hotel is located at the busy Paltan Bazar area of Central Guwahati, nearest to the Guwahati railway station and the Shillong Taxi stand. The check-in was smooth, but of course, no welcome drink provided even during this scorching summer season. My stay was on the 3rd floor, and I had booked the corporate room(Room no. 214) with complimentary breakfast. The quality of food is very good, with reasonable price and served in the room promptly. There is 24 hrs hot and cold running water, the washroom has rain shower🚿, with complimentary toiletries. The checkout is at 12 noon, although on request, it can be extended by another 30 minutes. There is covered parking space within the premises of the hotel with round the clock strict security guards. There are two elevators, a salon on the ground floor but with high charges, and there is a bar on the 1st floor, beside the restaurant. The Guwahati Airport is approximately 24 km from the hotel, and you can take the AC bus from the city to the airport from the Paltan Bazar bus terminal, which is about 300 meters from the hotel.

We had a private party at the property. It was a nightmare! The ***ager named “Pulak Debnath” this *** really need to learn how to speak with the guest. He is a mentally disturbed creature ruining the reputation of such a beautiful property. The owner should see into this and kick out this person out! Other than this the entire ambiance was good.

Good hotel with nice ***agement. Although the rates are higher compared to near by hotel of same star, but the ***agement of hotel was so welcoming that it was worth making higher expenditure. They gave us early check in as was traveling with a baby. The location is spot on near the paltan bazar and other places to visit.

This hotel is situated in the centre of the market area. The rooms were big, clean and good quality. They had a vast option for breakfast. We ordered dinner, and it was yummy. The staff were helpful, most of the tourist attractions were nearby.

Awesome! Right from reception to room service. The staff are too good, the room is well maintained, the spa is good, and the restaurant delicacies are relished. Thanks for the complimentary dessert. The lobby is spacious and the wooden furniture adds a royal touch.

The room was spacious, however it was dusty and musty. If the room was fresh and clean would have given it a great rating. Centrally located . Staff were helpful and courteous. Breakfast was wonderful with very accommodating staff. Hopefully admin will look into house keeping.

Stayed at Atithi for day n half . It's a avg to good place . Front desk was prompt to check in ànd check out. Located in market area. They have good restaurants n bar. Service 3/5 Food 4/5 Property 3/5 Considering prices are high , rated with 3 star only. It's a business hotel n some time lag in service to non business travelers

Team atithi cates for its guests..much in line of the emblem they have at reception.."atithi devo bhavah". Vandana ji..a housekeeping team member cared to find my ATM card and returned to me on room. I had not realised that it had slipped off my wallet..i cant thank her and housekeeping team for this.

The hotel is a 3 star property but provide 5 star experience except a swimming pool. Situated in the heart of the city centre Guwahati, a marvelous hotel. The rooms space is pretty good and equivalent to a 5 star hotel room with all facilities like mini bar, snacks and beverages. The complementary breakfast is very good with so much of varieties ranging from salads, pulses, fruits, juices, bread butter jam, omlet, south and north indian dishes. It is a sumptuous breakfast. The AC in the room works nicely and all the electrical fitting work nicely. The front office staff are highly courteous and friendly. The overall experience give immense satisfaction. One can take a vacation by staying in this hotel.
