Overall pleasant stay. We could hardly see anything in Guwahati except Kamakhya Temple which consumed all our day. Spectacularly mis***aged and disorganised, but eventually the darshan was divine. We lost an entire day, but parents visited Balaji temple which was again a wonderful place experience. The hotel as in is well maintained and rooms are typically Vivanta rooms - spacious and comfortable. The front desk staff needs to improve (stop talking like robots and behave like hu*** beings). But the front desk ***ager was quite helpful. He passed on our details to Shillong Vivanta (our next stop), which was helpful and saved time. Food was ok - nothing great but decent. I lost out on some discounts in rooms since the Tata employee booking portal was not working but despite providing my corporate id card, no room discounts were provided (which was disappointing). The swimming pool was closed on that day, which was again very disappointing as my son loves the pool whenever we stay in Vivanta. No recreational facilities for kids, provided feedback but the front desk staff was not very receptive (they should learn to accept customer feedback and respond positively). Vivanta in Kolkata and Delhi are far better. Thanks for the experience.
