Stayed two nights for a business conference nearby. Called to see if I could check in early to attend a virtual part of the conference from the hotel room - Star was so helpful and kind! She went above and beyond to make sure that a room would be ready for me in time for the virtual meeting. She called me back even before the time she said a room may be ready, and I was able to check in early with time to spare before attending the meeting! Star even offered to help me take my things from the car to the room (though I declined her assistance because I'm used to doing everything myself LOL). Star was very knowledgeable about the amenities and the activities near the hotel - she checked on me several times while I was there - it made all the difference! There was another large group staying at the hotel - two buses - and so it was a little noisy on my last night - most were teens, I think - but nothing outrageous (I did not complain, just mentioned it at checkout as I heard several others from our group had (worse) experiences with the large group). The rooms and hotel grounds were exceptionally clean and I saw staff cleaning almost constantly. Included breakfast was pretty good and just about something for everyone - yogurt, grits, breakfast bars (granola, Nutrigrain), muffins, bagels, toast, donuts, pancakes, sausage/Canadian bacon, eggs/omelets/frittatas, cereals, fresh fruits, milk, juices, oatmeal, coffee, hot chocolate. Coffee and hot chocolate available in the lobby 24-7 - complimentary. Ice machine with buckets and extra cups on the main floor near elevators. Pool table in lobby. Cubbies to work in lobby with USB ports. Nice outside area to socialize, relax, or smoke (if you're a smoker). Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers in shower, along with hand soap and lotion dispensers in bathroom - not the most expensive, but not the cheapest, either - I used them and appreciated that I did not have to pack extra stuff for a short business trip! No microwave in room, but one in lobby for everyone to use. Small fridge in room. Iron and ironing board in room. Laundry available (did not use). Climate control easy to use and worked well. No complaints about this trip/hotel/staff at all!

Our room was clean and our bed was comfortable. Good to have a microwave and refrigerator. TV was large! Plenty of hot water. Our room was quiet - we couldn't hear sounds from anyone else's room or outside much and the heat/AC unit was quiet as well. The staff was pleasant at check-in and check out. This hotel is an excellent value - I will choose it again when we are in the area.

GGUOLIMy home is a loyal customer of Springhill, but today I am staying in a disabled room, the toilet is oversized, and the early sofa bed is not very good. The surroundings of this hotel are very good.
GGuest UserThroughout our stay and encounters with your evening front desk staff, I strongly believe that they can use additional training. Not as professional as you would expect from that position. We were part of a large party which should have been all on the same floor. We were not accommodated as originally requested when booked several months ago. Also, my family and I were locked out of our room for almost an hour due to the battery of the door lock being out! What in the world - how does that even happen! Thank God we did not have an emergency. We missed grabbing dinner because everything around the resort was closed by the time we were able to get inside our room to grab our wallet. While we were sitting in the lobby waiting for maintenance to arrive and open our door, we were not even offered a drink or a snack. I even mentioned that we missed having dinner because everything had closed and we were really tired and hungry. There was no sense of urgency from your staff!
GGuest UserHad a personal reason to come to this area with the family, specifically chose this hotel as it was located where I wanted to be and Hilton-branded properties are the only ones with a guarantee on connecting rooms. It also helped that the property had ”glowing” reviews on TA. The rooms and breakfast are what you would expect from any Hampton Inn. The location is a bit ”rough” as the neighboring Clarion Suites seems to attract a bad crowd. However, the hotel does employ a security guard during the overnight hours to patrol the parking lot and property. However, the reasons for my 1/5 review is due to the service I received. To be clear, I realize this is a Hampton Inn, not a Waldorf Astoria. However, there still is a basic level of hospitality and customer service that should be provided, especially as brand standards aren't being followed here. It's obvious that the hotel has staffing and training issues, but this isn't a guest's responsibility and management shouldn't hide behind the curtain. Unless you absolutely need to be in this area, I cannot recommend this hotel to others as they aren't providing a basic level of customer service and management is nowhere to be found whenever an issue arises. You can stay at other properties in the area that will provide a similar experience, but at a fraction of the cost that this Hampton Inn is charging.
I booked Comfort Inn through *********** due to its proximity to Stone Mountain and other attractions we were interested in.I was a little hesitant after some of the reviews, but figured we were not going to be there very much, and I've stayed in some pretty rough places. After staying here for 4 nights, I legitimately only have a few minor complaints. This hotel is old and tired, in need of a desperate renovation, but that did not take away from the comfort of it. Had some of the more comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept on, and floors were quiet, which provided a restful nights sleep. My biggest complaint is that I canceled a different hotel because *********** stated it had a 100$ Security Deposit, this one did not have one listed. To my surprise, at check-in, right on the counter, there was a paper that stated a 100$ refundable security deposit was required...so that was a little disappointing. The pool area looked nice but was under maintenance for our entire stay. The breakfast was a normal contentintal hotel breakfast. One review stated its hard to find...I wouldn't necessarily say it's hard to find...just a bit of a inconvenience as there is only 1 direction in and one direction out...you can only turn right out of the hotel and have to basically make the block to go anywhere. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The housekeepers serviced our room every two days... but would give us fresh towels anytime we asked. The staff upgraded the door locks during our stay, they let us know up front that they were going to be doing this, that once it was done, we would need to get a new key....so we did so...but we were only given one key due to them not having many of the new key cards. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, while the place could use a good updating and maybe a little painting and cleaning. We would consider staying here again.
Do not stay here. Infested with mold. ****** indians give moldy rooms to black people and clean rooms to white people. Pretend to be nice to black people and ask them to leave good reviews. I repeat, do not stay here! You will quickly notice there are no white people on the first floor which is the diertiest.
Rrandr9040clean room at a very fair price well lit parking lot would stay again. it was a little bit nosie from some children running in the hall but that was the parents fault not the motels a few looksat them an they went in ther room. but over all a very good night sleep.
I foolishly paid for a week's stay online and then arrived to find an frighteningly empty lobby with an oversized tablet at the ”check-in” desk. The person in the videoscreen allowed me to see the room and a guy appeared and took me back to have a look. To be generous, the ambiance was military-warehouse with a double bed occupying 90% of the room and a tv on a dilapidated particle board box inches from the foot of the bed. I found another place to stay without missing a beat. But then, the hotel wouldn't give me a refund because I hadn't checked out. So, I went to the hotel again to check out and they prohibited my checking out OR checking in. They flat out refused to check me in or out in spite of my standing right there, and they had never given me a key so I had no access to the room at all. Still, they blamed me for their refusal to give me a refund because I didn't check out (they hadn't allowed that). I couldn't check in, and I couldn't check out, and they were just going to keep all the money I'd paid for the week's stay. That's the place. Expect the worst.
GGuest UserWhat’s funny I didn’t stay at this Hotel in the dates of the 7 and 8 due to at this point I feared for my safety. I accidentally booked to earlier that day due to my job assignment had changed.
But then they reassigned me to area so I rebook and was told I couldn’t cancel previously booking which I understand but since I had been a customer for week now I was still staying so I was confused of why the matter couldn’t be resolved better than it was through the Management telling me rules are rules and now I would of had to pay for 2wice for the same room because of Rules
WOW okay.
So now I can tell my friends AMD family don’t look or e spect Red-roof to be a Great Costumer Service experience.
O I actually slept in my truck that night due to not knowing the outcome of this situation between me and the management at this red roof location.
It so so sad due I Neva complained of the roaches and dirty bathrooms I had to reclean each time I stay there and the constant people knocking on the fire cause the drug dealers ruin the hotel in this area
And even their on Redroof representatives couldn’t convince this location to work me that day
But they will not have to worry about this Guy booking Red-roof AGAINS
TtouistytatyanaThe room was nice clean, the location of the hotel is perfect since it is quiet but still accessible to what Lawrenceville has to offer. The price of stay was very reasonable. Additionally, La’Toya was really sweet when checking me in, she provided great service!
By no means do not read the first reviews! That's how I was trapped and setup by Priceline! Read all the reviews... This place should be closed down and condemned! Roach infested!!! If you want to bring them home then stay here!! The health department of Norcross are not doing there jobs because by no means should this place be on any booking site or should be booked by anyone!! The experience I had there was horrific! People literally live there. Garbage and trash everywhere around the site. Rats yes! Their rooms smell awful, the front desk staff, she is the most disrespectful rude unprofessional person I ever met! It's a hit or miss if you get an AC that works in your room. But what you will get is an abundance of roaches coming from every direction. A 4 night stay end up being a 1 night, lost our money because they don't give back refunds regardless of the horrible conditions. Also, don't look for the $50 deposit back. Sitting in the lobby for 4 hours waiting for a room, the police was called on the front desk clerk, every other person who came in was irate with this place and the conditions. At that time people didn't have hot water for 2 days! Not to mention, you will only get one roll of toilet paper which doesn't matter cuz we were out of there. The roaches was using it anyway. I was too disgusted and didn't have time to take pics or record! We were busy trying to kill them!
