Hotels Near Yeonhwagyo and Chilbogyo in Gyeongju

The lake view and the room condition were good. However, the area around the drain in the shower room was dirty and there was a bad smell throughout the shower, which was unpleasant. There was a gap in the shower room door and wall, so while showering, water flowed out onto the bathroom's dry floor and you had to wipe it with a towel and use the sink. It's a shame I did it

Top rated as like previous reviews. Near to palace and tomb. Lots of good food around within walking distance and intercity bus terminal is just right beside. Nice view from our room too.

I had a really relaxing vacation with my family. The room is very spacious and I like the sofa, table, and bed. The bed may feel like the mattress is a bit hard, but I liked it more. The TV was also very large, which was fun. The bathroom is clean and spacious. However, it was disappointing that there was only a shower and not a bathtub.

Pros: -1. Clean and lighting bright. 2. Cold and hot water comes out well. 3. Air conditioning is good. 4. Close to bus terminal. Cons: -1. Room is a bit small. (Mini) 2. No elevator. 3. No coffee pot in the room. 4. No disposable toothbrush. No shaver. General Ping: We're older. It was a little hard to climb and down. I had to prepare my toothbrush in advance. But good value for money.

Small hotel with everything you need. One of the best & cleanest! Booked this place last minute and had no expectations, but boy were we surprised! We booked the deluxe as we were a family of 4: 3 singles and 1 queen. So everyone was able to sleep comfortable (& the bed were comfy). Very clean. Even the large bathroom was clean because it was through another door (near the entrance), it was quiet even when someone was using it in the middle of the night. We totally loved it and was so pleased to have found this gem. They had a very clean kitchen near the lobby that you could use and we brought our breakfast down every morning & ate there. They had free coffee/tea & filtered water system. Very convenient. Provided combs, hair ties, slippers, robes, even a reusable ”scrubbing shower towels” in their amenity pack - better than a 5star hotel! Can't stop talking about how great this little place was. And, of course, it was walking distance to the bus terminal, restaurants, bakeries, and quick access to bus 10 which took you to the temples. Just lovely! Thank you!

The hotel gave me a big, big surprise. It is very beautiful and indescribably antique. If you want to stay in a Korean house with a real ancient flavor, you must choose this hotel. You can schedule an extra day to walk around the village, it’s super beautiful. The hotel is surrounded by scenic spots. It takes 10-15 minutes to walk to Woljeong Bridge and Daleungwon... The hotel owner is a super nice person and always takes the initiative to drive us to places where we can eat or to the bus station in the city. The bus station is the Reunification Hall, which is also a scenic spot. Next time I go to Qingzhou, I will definitely stay for 2/3 days to fully experience the ancient capital. When booking, I checked the distance to the city center on the map. The results given at that time were a bit far for me as a Hong Kong person. In fact, it's not far at all, and there are scenic spots nearby.

The location was very close to the city bus terminal and easy to move anywhere. Friendly staff. Breakfast is varied and delicious. The price and condition are all satisfactory I went with my mother and I was comfortable because it was soundproof.

I stayed at the Commodore Hotel from May 7th to May 9th 2019on a trip to South Korea with a French group of nineteen people from Arts et Vie; being single I paid quite a large supplement to have a single room ,which I don't regret at all; my room was very large, very clean with all the necessary amenities;the bathroom was perfect ;the staff at the reception was very nice and helpful with sending photos on my smartphone to my family in France; i could change French euros to korean wons at a very good rate; yhe breakfast was delicious with a lot of choice:I really enjoyed the different kind of salads with the kiwi sauce! and the seaw****! Ienyoyed the cosy ,a little outdated atmosphere of the lobby and listening to the Philippine guitarist and singer while sipping a glass of chile wine at the cafe in thelobby .The surroundings of the hotel are great :it's so relaxing walking on the illuminated paths around the lake at sunsetlistening to music among Korean families enjoying the evening out; My only regret is that the pool was closed ,but I swam in Busan main beach 2 days later! Thank you for such a nice stay at the Commodore Hotel and tell the receptionist that the postcards I left at the reception have all arrived to their destination in France :Many Thanks for taking them to the post office; i will definitely come back to the Commodore hotel in Gyeongju on my next trip to Korea

Very clean hotel with good service. The room is spacious with a nice terrace. The swimming pool is not very deep but good for kids. I didn't like the area as there are not many things to do around but is a good hotel to stay out of the city for a couple of days.

This is a cost-effective accommodation. First of all, it was nice because it was very close to tourist attractions. Daereungwon and Hwangridan-gil are about a 5-minute walk away, so accessibility is easy. The accommodation also opened this year and was very clean. The condition of the bedding, supplies, and breakfast were all satisfactory. I had a good rest at a very reasonable price compared to the hotel conditions.
