Overall a lovely place to stay. Only one swimming pool in a slightly awkward shape, but good shallow section for children. Super friendly staff, comfortable rooms, excellent air con. We didn't eat at hotel so can't comment on food. Would stay again, no complaints.

Pros: Fantastic room service and incredibly friendly, helpful staff. The property is beautiful, well-maintained, and feels right in the heart of nature. The pool area is gorgeous, and the sunset views by the lake huts are a highlight. Seeing monkeys near the pool was a great touch.
Cons: We had an issue with wasps getting into our room and bathroom at night. While the staff were polite and quick to help the first night, the wasps returned the next evening. I unfortunately got a painful wasp bite in the bathroom. I wish management had offered to move us to a different room for safety. Still a lovely stay overall, but room sealing needs attention.

We really liked the hotel, especially the room, grounds, and restaurant. Our bungalow room was great, with everything we needed: towels, tea, coffee, a kettle, shampoos, and air conditioning. The food in the restaurant was delicious. The grounds are large and green; stepping out in the morning to the sound of cicadas was wonderful. We even rented a boat and went out on the lake. There's a safe in the room. The only thing that marred our stay was money disappearing from my bag, which I'd forgotten to put in the safe and left on the table. We only realized the money was gone after we had checked out. Not all the money was taken, just about a third of the total amount. It felt like a professional thief, as they didn't take everything, just a portion that you wouldn't immediately notice unless you counted it. This, of course, really soured our impression of the hotel, even though the staff at the front desk and in the restaurant were very attentive and friendly.

We had an excellent stay at **Habarana Village by Cinnamon**, and the **Kingfisher Suite** was one of the highlights of our trip. The suite was spacious, comfortable, beautifully maintained and surrounded by the peaceful natural setting that makes Habarana so special.
The views and atmosphere were fantastic, especially in the evening, and the whole property feels calm, relaxing and very well looked after. The staff were friendly, attentive and always willing to help, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
If you are visiting Habarana or the Cultural Triangle, I would highly recommend the **Kingfisher Suite at Habarana Village by Cinnamon**. One of the best places we have stayed in the area, and we would definitely return.

Lovely setting for relaxing around the pool. Great location for exploring the national parks to see elephants. The food was delicious.

A wonderful, comfortable place to stay. It is located in a really convenient place if you wish to walk to cafes, restaurants, bars, shops and laundry services. The rooms/grounds/environment are very nice, sitting next to Habarana Lake and you will share the grounds with nature. The food was wonderful, especially the local Sri Lankan dishes. However, the best thing about this place is the staff - absolutely brilliant - friendly, helpful and attentive.
