Great place to stay and visit! We loved everything about Hacienda Guachipelin. The staff was amazing, the pool and poolside bar were lovely, the breakfast and dinner buffets were terrific, and the amenities (hot pools, waterfalls, walking paths) were spectacular. In hindsight, we would have booked a few more days here.

We loved the property. What a wonderful place to build a resort! It is so pretty around there! The two gentlemen playing music made our stay so comforting and nice.
We loved the pool and the snack shop attached to it.
The food was awesome at the restaurant and bar. The staff was so friendly and helpful! The waterfalls were lovely and we had so much fun on the walks and in the hot spring baths.
We also had to seek out the medic for a couple of things and he was the BEST!!

Grounds were very well kept. Staff helpful and friendly. Activities well organized and fun. Food a little disappointing but restaurant was clean and staff attentive. Would recommend to anyone that enjoys an eco adventure and lodge type setting

Gepflegte Hotelanlage. Das Zimmer hatte einen eigenen Sitzplatz mitten im Grünen und mit vielen bunten Vögeln. Zudem war es sehr sauber. Das Personal, vor allem im Restaurant, war jederzeit sehr freundlich. Leider waren viele Reisegruppen vor Ort, was uns nicht angesprochen hat. Der Pool hat uns sehr ebenfalls nicht gereizt.

Incredible hotel and grounds. Most comfortable bed we had in Costa Rica. Some hotels in the area do not have AC so we picked this one and are so glad we did. Wonderful food and staff. We walked to incredible waterfalls. The hot springs were fabulous in a natural setting. Tubing was fun. Make sure you confirm they will take pictures because they didn’t on our trip. We would be happy to go back!

Bel hôtel dans un endroit magnifique Nous avons apprécié le cocktail de bienvenue. La chambre avec deux grands lits était spacieuse ainsi que la salle de bain. Nous avons déjeuner au bar côté piscine version snack. C était correct et bon. Pour le dîner côté bar après les deux restos, cocktails très bons et les plats aussi et copieux. Les serveurs sont très sympathiques. Le personnel a l accueil également et ont répondu à nos attentes. Sur place on peut se rendre aux differentes cascades où on peut se baigner pour les plus courageux car l eau est fraîche on peut y aller soit à pied ou en voiture et les sources d eaux chaudes (serviettes fournies) sont très appréciable malgré la chaleur. C est gratuit quand on client de l hôtel. Il y a une boutique de souvenirs où les prix restent abordable. Sur place il y a aussi un stand qui propose diverses activités nous avons fait du tubing. C est cool et rafraîchissant (prévoir crème solaire même le matin) !!!! Très bel endroit dans un très bon parc.

Hotel was recommended by a Canadian friend from Costa Rica and it was great. We arrived at Liberia airport after an overnight flight, picked up a rental car, stopped at WalMart for supplies, and Liberty for a SIM card beofre the short (less than an hour) to Hotal Hacienda Guachipelin. Received a little welcome drink at checkin and the room was spacious and close to resturants, lobby & pool without being noisy. We were glad to have a car to drive to the various sites around the property on our own and it was not crowded when we were there April 10-12, 2024. Really enjoyed this as a first stop & introduction to Costa Rica. We did not actually go into the National Park but stayed on the property only enjoying the trails, waterfalls, thermal pools, viewpoint and swimming pool.
