We were very positively surprised by the hotel. It started with the parking lots at the hotel and the quiet location. The check-in passed smoothly. The room was large and modernly furnished. Great was the sauna and the swimming pool. The hotel is a little outside the city. But whoever is somewhat good walking can stop the car and walk in about 15 minutes. reach the first restaurants. Chose this place primarily for its Gym facilities, and it absolutely delivered on it. On top of that, the place also offered a cool student vibe blended with boutique chic decor and atmosphere. A great value for money at the heart of the old town, right in the middle of all the Christmas market and festivities. LOCATION: Excellent location in the heart of town and right next to the main cathedral and the buzzing pedestrian shopping street. DINE + DRINK: The BASEOLOGY rooftop bar is quite cool to get a pre-drink in the evening, especially around sunset. ROOM: We stayed in Room 570, so this review is based on that; SIZE: Spacious enough for 2 adults and simple baggage; VIEW: Nice lateral views of the main cathedral, and the the Ferris wheel set up for Christmas; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting us to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: Good spa quality toiletries. FACILITIES: Very decent Gym with a good range of weights and Cardio machines divided into two levels. SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all our needs with a smile and made us feel at home and well taken care of. HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wi-Fi that works well all over the property, and the speed is good! Big Smart TV dishing out a wide variety of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies, and entertainment primarily in GERMAN and very few options in English (primarily News and music!

Hotel adres listed is different then the actual Hotel reception! The Hotel is situated in the very center, with plenty of parking options. They have 2 buildings, after i figured out where the reception was. I eas able to check in and get room #209 a spacious room, without AC. Two big windows towards a side street from the high street shopping area. The staff was friendly and after asking for AC they offered to put a fan in my room, which was necessary due to the very warm weather. I did enjoy the breakfast with savory and sweet option to choose from. I liked the stay very much that i booked for Hannover too in the weekend.

Had a wonderful time at this hotel it was like being at home with all the facilities of home like kitchen with cooker and sink and microwave and lovely large bed and room to relax in if not out on town , breakfast excellent early morning , it was the place I wanted a hotel to be in dortmund , close to airport and not far from the beautiful train station , and town , near a record shop and lots of activities around hotel , excellent hotel but weather was not very good wind and rain , but excellent time in dortmund Germany , magic oh magic , German football history stadium close to train station in dortmund , be great to stay at this hotel again , it was different kind of hotel , a magic place of adventure , relaxing eating and drinking and walking around town visiting a record shop and shopping , add romance prefect place to be in dortmund Germany , hotel clean and made for comfort while on holiday away from home

Hotel is very good in traffic, but the service at the reception was very unprofessional. Arrival was already after 3 p.m., but rooms are not yet finished. I wanted a quiet room, I was given a large bedroom without taking into account that I ordered a separate two-bed room, then again to reception, my ordered room category was down.
