Hahei Bed and Breakfast

Very comfortable spacious room and beautiful garden and swimming pool which we enjoyed. Everything is kept in immaculate condition. Great breakfast and every effort made to accommodate dietary requirements. Sue and Phil are a mine of information on the area and were very helpful in planning our days out. Sue helped with washing and both were so pleasant creating a friendly welcoming atmosphere for guests.

An absolutely lovely spot in perfect location in the small village of Hahei. Hosts Phil and Sue make sure you’ve got what you need and breakfast was wonderful. Lots of little extras and comfy beds too! Easy walk to beach and center of village. Highly recommend

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay, Phil and Sue were amazing hosts and helped us with all our trips. The accommodation was just perfect.The cooked breakfast was delicious, it was so nice to talk to the other guests over breakfast. The location was perfect for visiting the beautiful Coromandel. Great restaurants and superb beach very close too.

Wonderful stay. Room spacious, clean and comfortable. Upon arrival, phil helped us with dinner reservations. Phil and Sue are lovely hosts with knowledge and advice on the area, provided a wonderful full breakfast and were lovely to chat with. The only place I’d want to stay in Hahei!

Sue and Phil are the perfect hosts and offer the perfect accommodation for your stay in Hahei. All the rooms are beautifully furnished and beautifully kept. The breakfast has a large choice available for all tastes and is superbly cooked and presented. You won’t find a better place to stay in Hahei Thank you Sue and Phil it was lovely to meet you and stay in your super home.

During the 40 days we've been in New Zealand we've stayed in over 20 places, almost all have been great but our three nights at Hahei B&B have been exceptional. From the moment you arrive to the moment you depart Sue and Phil go to extraordinary lengths to make your stay as comfortable and stress free as possible. The room was tastefully furnished and well equipped, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was spotless with high end appliances and the breakfasts were wonderful. Their advice about where to eat, where to visit and when was invaluable and they were as interested in what you'd done each day as they were in giving you advice. The provision of beach/pool towels was welcome (as were the spades for digging your pool at Hot Water Beach!) and the pool was a tranquil retreat at the end of a busy day. In summary, Hahei B&B is run by two people who obviously enjoy running a B&B and want their guests to have the best possible experience of their corner of North Island and I can’t recommend it too highly. PS sorry there aren’t any photos - we were having such a great time that taking photos was the last thing on our minds!

A stunning location with beautiful gardens. Sue & Phil were excellent hosts, providing help with bookings, advice about local attractions, an extremely comfortable bed and accommodation, and a delicious breakfast. They were both very interesting and interested in their conversations with us and other guests. We couldn't have wished for a better start to our New Zealand adventure.

We stayed in the guesthouse in the garden with a full kitchen and it was very clean and beautiful. The hosts are lovely and the breakfast is very rich and tasty, great coffee, fun stories (thanks again for the Kiwi Dip Tip :-)). Overall a great location – you can walk to the ocean and the Pourhouse.
