Staff were friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Great position within walking distance of everything. Some steps to get to the rooms which is good to know if you have large suitcases. A little tricky to find the entrance to the Lodge but overall enjoyed our stay.

I liked the situation of The Lodge sitting back off the Main Street. Room was a twin and was clean and adequate; powerful shower. However we could hear neighbours in adjoining rooms, the tvs and one morning even smelt toast which had been burnt. Although walls were brick, there was presumably no good insulation under the roofs.

The Lodge is in a really excellent location for a stay in Hahndorf, set back off the main street behind the Hahndorf Inn. The place has a kind of classic motel feel to it, informal with a spacious, comfortable, well equipped room that could do with some updating, particularly the bathroom. We were not bothered by this, considering it as character and would definitely be happy to stay here again on a future visit.

The motel is clean, amazing location, and comfy. it is older, the gardens are a little overgrown and the pool area looks like someone's backyard pool area, but I would come back. It's charming and fits the Hahndorf them. 3.5 stars is my score.

Great value for money in a brilliant location. Only small issue was air conditioner in our room was a little noisy. Would stay again.

1) No checkin support 2) No checkout support even at 9:30 am 3) No drinking water provided or basics like shampoo / body wash 4) Absolutely no service to support for anything you might need during the stay.
