Ich war bereits zum 4 Mal in der Kaliwa Lodge...jedes Mal, wenn sich das Tor hinter einem schließt ist es wie＞ im Paradies ankommen.... ein tolles Klima, kühlende Bäume ringsherum, man genießt den tollen Garten und die atemraubende Aussicht auf den Weru Weru River, die Berghänge, die schon einem Regenwald gleichen und früh morgens den Kilimanjaro. Der Service ist zuvorkommend, kompetent und super freundlich, das Essen ist mit viel Liebe angerichtet und so unglaublich lecker.... ich habe in einem der neuen Bungalows am Hang übernachtet und hatte glaube ich noch nie so ein großes Hotelzimmer, nein eher ein ganzes Haus........ Raw und im Bauhausstil von außen, modern, chic, und liebevoll eingerichtet innen. Der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für die Reise auf den Berg oder für einen Start ins Safari-Abenteuer.. Eigentlich könnte man seinen ganzen Urlaub hier verbringen...Ich komme definitv wieder!

Très bel emplacement, en pleine nature et quelle vue. Le personnel est aux petits soins. Le dîner ainsi que le petit déjeuner était délicieux et bien copieux. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Nous avons également profité de l'excursion aux eaux chaudes via l'hôtel et avons adoré. Merci beaucoup

Eingebettet in den Regenwald und die Felder der Permakultur der Bauern liegt diese Lodge. Das Essen war einfach großartig und mit das Beste der ganzen Reise durch Tansania. Die Zimmer sind schlicht gehalten und vielleicht ein bisschen eng. Der Blick von der Plattform auf den Kili aber großartig.

A very enriching experience led by a professional guide who drove us 5 in her own for 3 hours and a half to the forest, the waterfalls, the local culture explaining in depth what we observed. We highly recommend Elisabeth Asante sana. Pierre-Olivier Landry

The rooms was very clean, staff is amazing. Monkeys are jumping from off the terrace, organic coffee in the room. Clean bedsheets and towels which is rare in Tanzania, food is delicious at the restaurant.

A very nice lodge located in the middle of the rainforest. Very friendly people and good food. Try to get one of the new bungalows with a great look to the Kilimanjaro. We also did a Machame Wald with a very competent guide. With to come back next time. Thanks to Omega.

Wunderschön gelegene Lodge mit Panoramaterrasse am Fuße des Kilimandjaro! Die neuen Mountain View Bungalows sind eine exzellente Bereicherung der gepflegten und gut gemanagten Lodge. Frühstück und Abendessen top. Attention to detail sowie Freundlichkeit und Professionalität des gesamten Teams wie man es selten in Tansania erfährt. Einzigartig!!!

My stay at Kaliwa Lodge was wonderful. Situated in a lush green environment, Kaliwa offers a perfect escape from everyday life. The view from the deck is breathtaking, with a clear view on the Kilimanjaro. The breakfast is delightful, with a lot of options, and even brown bread! (Difficult to find in Tanzania..) The dining consisted of a lovely three-course meal, offering different options everyday. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The room was beautiful, clean and more than comfortable. All in all, Kaliwa Lodge is a real hidden gem in Moshi, and I would definitely recommend going there!

Kaliwa lodge was everything we dreamed of and more! First of all, the location of Kaliwa lodge is bliss. Right between the banana plantations, in the jungle at the foot of the Kilimanjaro is where you find the lodge. You feel like you are right inside of nature, eventhough you're not so far from Moshi! Secondly, the staff was extremely kind and made sure everything we wished for was fulfilled. The food that was served was unbelievable: the breakfast had a huge variety of fruits, yoghurt, muesli, eggs, pancakes and more.. Really anything you could wish for. The daily menu offered a 3 course meal of lovely food with a local twist (with which they served really tasty wine!). Overall, I would definitely recommend staying at Kaliwa Lodge, it was a blissful stay in a lush environment!
