I booked a room with Ctrip. I thought it was an old hotel after reading the reviews, but I was surprised when I came in. The room environment is very good, the facilities are not old, it is quiet, it is close to the duty-free shop, and it feels very safe next to the provincial government. The bedding is silky and clean, and it is a good place to sleep. I was very relieved and also gave two bottles of milk and two small lucky bags as gifts, which felt good. You can find this hotel tucked away amongst residential apartments, convenience stores and local eateries (which are opened until late). Malls and western restaurants is a short ride away (+-5kms) via DiDi. The room is outrageously big, clean and pretty modern. The shower is powerful, effective and extremely hot - my room highlight. The customer service was superb and they accommodated my change in travel plans towards the end of my stay. I would recommend this hotel if you want to live amongst the local people, looking for something affordable and wanting a spacious room.

The rooms are spacious and clean, most important the beds are good size and quite comfortable. There is a pool next door with hot tub (natural) which was nice and enjoyable. We had a three stay as we were visiting family in Haikou, I can recommend the hotel.

I feel disgusting. I wear a mask when I go in and out. Secondly, the front desk service, although polite, insists on swiping my face for authentication. They say it is required by the public security department, but I don't want to do it. Saying that is not possible is equivalent to forcing guests to swipe their face. , this is a serious violation of the ”Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China”. National laws should also be observed and implemented in Hainan. If the public security department knows that the law stipulates it and still requires it, this is knowing the law and breaking the law. As a law enforcement department, it is suspected of not taking the lead. There is no point in negotiating with the front desk clerk to enforce national laws. Why is it so difficult to protect one's legitimate rights and interests in Hainan, but a hotel in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province implements it better, and the public security department also notified the hotel that it is not necessary to do so.
