Great value for a layover. They offer a free shuttle service, and surprisingly, it's not noisy despite being only about 5.6 km from the airport. The room might be a bit dated, but it has everything you need. For this price, what more could you ask for?

We chose Qingcheng Xiaozhu primarily because of their complimentary airport pick-up service, especially since we arrived at Meilan Airport past 11 PM. However, we did have to wait over half an hour for the shuttle bus. The room was clean and comfortable, and it was very convenient to find breakfast options around the hotel.

Arriving in Haikou from Wuhan at 1:30 AM, I found this B&B online which was near the airport and offered free shuttle service – it was an excellent choice. After landing, I called the front desk, added them on WeChat, and followed the video instructions to quickly find the parking lot and board the shuttle back to the hotel! The next morning, I slept in, then took the shuttle to Meilan Airport to catch the Airport Express to Qilou Old Street!
