We checked in when it was raining and cold, stayed in room 6, which is on the 3rd floor and worth the stair climb. Brittney immediately texted me the room door key code and some nearby places to eat, as it was already 4pm and we were famished. She came by later and gave my a full tour of the house, it's gorgeous. Guests not only have access to all the first floor, they also have a huge dining area, stocked with every conceivable breakfast food and beverage imaginable. Brittney makes a fresh pot of coffee every morning, but there's also a Keurig with the most extensive array of coffee and tea pods I've ever seen in any hotel or inn. She also puts out fresh fruits, preserves, hard boiled eggs, bars and smoked salmon, as well as cheeses, breads and bagels. We were even offered the option to have her get some fresh eggs if we wanted to cook them for breakfast on the inn's professional level gas stove. Brittney offered to make us a fire and did so the next night, very nice and cozy. We were having a great time, despite a looming family issue that became an emergency and forced us to leave 3 days early. We've stayed in many an inn or B & B and have learned that a great property and location are key, but a great host even more so. Brittney is a young lady but an old soul who's wise beyond her years. Both my wife and I enjoyed meeting her, talking with her and the way she took care of the inn and us. I highly recommend this inn, it's beautiful and 10-15 minutes from Ketchum, without the crowds, traffic and sky high costs.
