I recently stayed here and booked two rooms here for one night. So the rooms were spacious, clean and well equipped ie coffee, fridge, kettle etc What ruins the experience was the lacklustre customer service. I checked in right at 3pm, the front desk guy said he already charged the card and produced one receipt. I asked if we could have two separate receipts (as they’re are two parties), he said no just take the total and divide by two (yeah thanks tips) The other thing is I need extra towels to have a bath due to physical disability ( I didn’t feel the need to explain this and just asked for extra towels) He immediately says they’re extra towels in a draw and then said how many guests are in the room. And I said two adult in one room and 1 in the other (it was all in the reservation I made) I left the check in letting me know if I needed anything just ask him (umm yeah I needed separate receipts and extra towels) I had to go back later on in the evening and ask for extra bath towels as I couldn’t find them in the room, I then had to ask him to help me carry the towels to the room. It just seems like the guy worked harder to do less, wasn’t that proactive in being accommodating and I still left with one receipt. The sound of the fridge is super annoying though out the night and you can hear the truck traffic early in the morning I don’t usually overnight in Haines Junction and would probably pick a different, more hospitable option next time. In terms of accessibility it would be hard to get to the front rooms or to the front desk due to all the gravel (ie hard to push a wheelchair)

This room was nice and big. A comfortable queen bed. A couch and a small dining set rounded out the room. The shower was lovely and hot and the bathroom spacious. It was nice to have a kettle. Room not too hot, the ability to sleep with window open was great. I’m sure this is usually quite a quiet place to stay, but during our stay there was construction work occurring directly opposite us. One evening the electric saw went until 9pm. The hosts very attentive and accommodating. Thanks for a comfortable stay.

From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed. The room was the perfect amount of comfort after a long day of driving. The staff was welcoming and so helpful, giving us dinner recommendations and letting us know where we should go for breakfast as well letting us know they were here for anything we needed. I would highly recommend The Raven’s Rest for anyone looking for accommodations in Haines Junction.

We stayed here one night while we were in Haines Junction. The hotel looks either brand new or refurbished from top to bottom. Everything in our room was bright and clean and fresh. The bed was comfortable there was a nice table and chairs, and an easy chair as well. There was also a refrigerator and a microwave and coffee pot and kettle for tea. All the bathroom fixtures were new and fresh. Breakfast was really delicious; there were hard boiled eggs cheese hot oatmeal juicing oranges. The proprietor was incredibly nice and helpful to us, and we’re only sorry we had but one night to stay here.

Great place to stay for a few nights to experience Kluane National Park. Clean, comfortable rooms. Close to everything Haines Junction has to offer. Lynn, the owner goes out of her way to make your stay truly memorable. Great bakery and the pub within walking distance.

Arrived after 9 + hours on Alaska Highway. Proprietor so friendly & helpful…even let use her tools to fix our propane tank. Room nicely appointed, included table & chairs for eating if desired. Frig, microwave, coffeemaker & electric tea kettle. Good coffee provided and tea selection. Loved comfy rocking chair. Great place to crochet🙂. Picture after we slept in bed…looked nice on arrival🤣

We stayed 2 nights in July on a Yukon road trip. First of all Haines Junction is this sweet little town, with interesting sites and friendly people at each turn. This hotel is perfectly located to walk to food, parks and other necessities. Lynn was ready for us when we arrived, even though it was a bit late. Our king room was updated, had small dining table, a recliner chair, fridge, coffee, kettle etc. Shower had good water pressure. Wifi had strong signal. We were give $20 coupons for the village bakery which got us 2 coffees and 2 hand and cheese croissants for breakfast. This was my view as I walked to Village Bakery. I thought this was a great stay!
