The room was much larger than typical city hotels, and the tatami area was incredibly comfortable. The 24-hour self-service drink bar gets a five-star rating! It was a lovely surprise to find milk and popsicles after a bath. My first half-board experience was fantastic, and the price was even better! 😂

Reallt enjoyed the spa! Dinner a bit hard to find but breakfast was reallt good / convenient. Alao super convenient to find as quite close to Gora station

Excellent, highly recommend! The breakfast was delicious and the private onsen was great. I'll definitely book this place again next time! The location is absolutely perfect too – super convenient for taking the cable car, and the Open-Air Museum is just a ten-minute walk away.

This was my second trip to Hakone, and since I was traveling with my 70-year-old parents, I chose Hakone Yutowa Hotel for its convenient location. The hotel is only 400 meters from Gora Station, about a 7-minute walk on flat ground. It's also super close to Gora Park, though that involves an uphill climb. We stayed for three days and two nights. Breakfast and dinner were both buffet style with unlimited drinks and alcohol. They offer afternoon tea from 3 PM to 7 PM, and an evening bar time from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM. After soaking in the hot springs, complimentary ice cream and milk were a lovely touch. Everything was absolutely wonderful; I'm so glad we chose Yutowa Hotel.

Quick and efficient check-in. Location is ideal for exploring hakone area. Stayed for 1 night and enjoyed the facilities, amenities. Biggest room so far for our trip. Comfortable beds too..Safe environment, suitable for families. Appreciate the complimentary perks throughout the stay.

Great location, spacious rooms, and a wonderfully elegant hotel environment. They even have a free drinks bar! The breakfast was delicious, making it perfect for couples and families alike.

Convenient location between 2 train stations. Great selection for breakfast, snacks and dinner. Room was really spacious. Main issue was the connection between some guest rooms and main building, with some stairs connecting in between, might be difficult if carrying big luggages

The hotel is located just within 5 minutes walk from Gora station. There are many facilities provided such as private & public onsen, lounge, snacks and free-flow beverage and juices. Breakfast and dinner are buffet style which have a variety of food selection. Great hotel in Hakone.

The window view at this hotel is absolutely fantastic!!! It was raining when I visited, but it had a unique charm, surrounded by lush forest.

First off, let's talk about the location. It's about a three to five-minute walk from Gora Station, and you can also easily walk to the Hakone Open-Air Museum. The overall environment is fantastic. The dinner and snacks provided were plentiful. Since there weren't many people when I visited, the hot springs weren't crowded at all – it was perfect!

A beautifully designed hotel with a serene atmosphere. I loved the onsen facilities, especially having both private and public baths to choose from. The surroundings were so quiet that I slept incredibly well. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and the location couldn’t be more convenient. A wonderful stay overall.

The hotel is a 5–6 minute walk from Gora Station, making it convenient for exploring the area. They offer welcome drinks and snacks, along with complimentary coffee and beverages. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious; breakfast included congee, and dinner was a generous spread (buffet plus beef or fish teppanyaki). The room was newly renovated and quite spacious. While there's no bathtub, the indoor onsen is good (though no open-air bath, there is a foot bath). Service was decent, and it offers great value for money.

I had a wonderful stay at Hakone Yutowa. The hotel was very clean, and the atmosphere felt warm and cozy—especially perfect during the winter season. One of the highlights was the free-flow alcohol selection, which included plum wine, Japanese spirits, whisky, and beer. They also offered a nice variety of snacks like spicy biscuits, nuts, cakes, and mochi, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The only downside is the location—getting to restaurants or a convenience store requires a bit of a walk. But overall, it’s a comfortable and relaxing place to stay, especially if you’re looking to unwind.
