Hotel Okada

Took my elderly parents here for a one night stay. We took the shuttle bus from the train station for 200 yen a person, but if I were to go again, I would opt for a taxi instead as the busses are small and can be hard to bring multiple pieces of luggage on. I thought both dinner and breakfast would be at the buffet, but the check-in receptionist said dinner was a traditional Japanese kaiseki meal. As my parents can be picky eaters with foods they are unfamiliar with, I asked to switch to the buffet so they can eat whatever they want. The room was large and had an a private open-air onsen bathtub. The shower next to the bath is a bit finicky as the water is on a timer. You have to press the lever every few seconds to get the shower running again. That day was chilly, so showering was a bit cold, but the onsen more than made up for that. We did not visit the public bath or the public onsen, so cannot comment on those. Yukatas are provided inside the closet in your room. Some guests chose to wear them everywhere inside the hotel, some did not. It is down to your personal preference. The dinner buffet was quite nice, with lots of Japanese and Western food and drink options, including alcohol. While we were out at dinner, the staff came into our room and laid out a futon on the floor in additional to the 2 twin sized beds. The breakfast buffet had somewhat fewer options, but it was still good.

We were spend time in and around hotel, worth to visit and value for money.

It was astounding. Everything was perfect. The lotions, the hair care, the private hot spring, it was all amazing and I would come back!

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Okada for 2 nights for our honeymoon, and it was a truly wonderful experience. • Honeymoon Surprise: The staff provided excellent service and even prepared a thoughtful welcome gift for our honeymoon, which made us feel very special. • The Room & Amenities: Our room was spacious, spotless, and very quiet. The highlight was definitely the private open-air bath in the room—so relaxing and peaceful. We were also pleasantly surprised to find complimentary skincare sets and facial masks provided in the room. It shows great attention to detail. • Dining: Both the breakfast and dinner buffets offered a wide variety of delicious options. • Location: Getting to the train station is easy with the shuttle bus that runs on a reliable schedule. If you prefer to walk, it's a pleasant 19-minute walk.

The service of the hotel was terrible! We’ve arrive early in the morning and would like to drop off our luggage and confirm the time for dinner and breakfast for the other morning, the reception told us it’s check out time, we can confirm the time when we come back, we told the reception we’ll be back late and want to confirm now cause if we back late and there would be no slot for us to choose but we still got rejected. We arrived arrived around 6pm and check in , the other reception told us either dinner and breakfast time slot are full, we can only take what they arrange! Which really pissed us off! And there’s no facility at all, no shuttle bus ! Will never stay in this hotel again !

The room is spacious and onsen in-room is fantastic. The dinner buffet was good although it is not what I expected to have unlimites long hair crab legs. The breakfast is buffet style and just so so. The overall experience is okay however the hotel is at the bottom of the road. if u do not have a car I wouldn't recommend to choose this hotel.

Had good time for staying here. Stuff is very nice and helpful, room view was excellent and we liked food as well .
