Great river view from our room! Traditional Japanese music and dance performance by geisha professionals during dinner time, which was a great experience. We will definitely stay here next time.

The dinner was really bad: -beef is fully cooked and texture is tough - cooked crab is smelly - grilled fish is hard and does not have taste Also, my room has 3 huge problems -the water in the shower area cause flood - there is a big spider found in the room. - air condition in living room is noisy The worst part is I sent my complaint to the hotel for 2 weeks, there are no respond.

Good location. Nice big room with comfortable beds and pillows. Room was very clean. Great sauna bath area. Great customer service. Staff very helpful.

The services is amazing and friendly. There are staff who could speak and read English and willing to answer our query. I ask for safeguard my buggage when I already check out the hotel, but the hotel also willing to do it. Even more, there are some existing broken part in my baggage (which is not related to hotel), but the hotel noticed it and help using tape to reinforce the broken part for my baggage. Such services is out of my expectation, I have to give credit for the amazing service👍🏿

Short walk from train station and shopping street, hence super convenient. There is a nice soba place just outside the hotel.

A bit old

A very good stay experience. We booked a room with a hot spring in the room, which is more convenient and private. The room area is nearly 70 square meters. The living room is spacious and comfortable, making people feel very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner are also included in the room rate, and the food is fresh and plentiful. After staying for two nights, the menu was completely different. I felt the hotel's attentiveness and thoughtfulness. Especially, there was a Japanese traditional performance at dinner. While enjoying the food, the guests also enjoyed a visual feast. I hope I will have the opportunity to return to Helu Village again next time.

The hotel is very close to the station, about 7 minutes away, and the bus to the mountain is also a stone's throw away. The hotel facilities are relatively old, but very convenient. The hot springs are separated for men and women, but still very comfortable. The breakfast and dinner are very Japanese, a very good experience. My husband and I stayed for two days, and the food was different for two days, with a lot of delicious dishes. The service is very good, and I will definitely book this hotel next time I go to Hakone.

The hotel is located at Hakone Yumoto Station, 5-6 minutes walk from the station, at the foot of the Hakone Mountains. Japanese-style rooms, two meals included, Japanese set meals for breakfast, Kaiseki cuisine for dinner, free small meals for rest in the lobby, and a foot bath pool by the river and the mountain when you walk out of the lobby, which is cozy. The ladies of the hot spring are on the sixth floor, unlike other hot springs that will change the male and female hot spring pools the next day (fixed female guests are on the sixth floor). The outdoor hot spring has a mountain view. Because it is at the foot of the mountain, it is not as broad as the hot springs on the mountain, but the price ratio is good and the service is very thoughtful. Small but exquisite. The next day, you can buy a one-day pass to go up the Hakone Mountain Trail, Owakudani, and Lake Ashi. The scenery is more pleasant during the red leaf season and snow season.

In addition to being expensive, all other facilities and services are not up to par. Here are a few complaints: 1. I clearly ordered a room cleaning service, but when I went back at night, I found that all the instant noodles I had eaten the day before were still there, and they were not thrown away! 2. The disposable seal of the toilet in the bathroom fell on the ground, but he didn't throw it away but picked it up and put it on the sink... 3. This is the first time in my life that I have seen a hotel's hand soap and shower gel. All of them are mixed with water! ! What the hell, it's so expensive 1300+ a night, and you give me mixed water, and it's all water when you squeeze it out! Do the waiters think we are **? 4. The overall hard decoration of the hotel is old, and the room door is still locked with a key, and it is very difficult to lock! It's amazing that you have to bring a key when you go out. 5. When we checked in at the hotel, we were told that we had to pay extra. We were told that a double bed room is only for one person. If you want to stay with two people, you need to pay the difference for one person, but you didn't tell me in advance. It's really amazing that a double bed can only accommodate one person... This time, I changed four hotels in 8 days, and only this one was like this, so it's not a cultural difference, it's the hotel's own problem.
