Breakfast was excellent. Location was great. Was able to view the northern lights from the balcony. The food at the restaurant was also pretty good. Checking in wasn’t that good, we paid for a superior room but did not get one and had to go back to the reception to get it changed (we did remind the person at the reception when checking in though).

We were generally satisfied with the hotel. It’s a bit off the beaten path and not particularly close to anything but the room was clean and efficiently setup, and the staff is friendly. Their breakfast was also good.

Lovely hotel in the Pines. Trees all around the property. The staff were kind and accommodating. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast offered many options. Very busy in the morning even at 9:00 am. No worries for there was plenty of food and options.

The staff was very accommodating with a late check-in which was much appreciated. Great bathroom setup. The window in the room is tiny (like in most hotels in Iceland) so it was really hot as there was no wind whatsoever.

The room was fine, spacious, comfortable and clean. It was a bit short on amenities however, not even a box of tissues in the room. Dinner at the a la carte restaurant was very nice, lovely food, cheerful and efficient staff. The Icelandic Lamb was excellent. Breakfast was plentiful and well presented.

this is how you are treated in the hotel restaurant, even if it is not crowded! the waiters don't take the empty plates from the tables and don't even ask the customers if they want something to drink! shame!
