Heritage Hotel Hallstatt Reviews

This hotel is the second-best spot for postcards, right next to the church and very close to the scenic viewpoint. We were lucky enough to be assigned a room in the main building with a balcony facing the lake, which was peaceful and relaxing. The restaurant also overlooks the lake.

Very closed to pier, just opposite the pier, walkable to bus station. Everything is good and we have pleasant stay here, photo is the view from our balcony room.

Beautiful lakeside hotel in the centre of Hallstatt - the hotel provided us shuttle service to Lahn (bus terminal) out of courtesy, that is much appreciated, and with excellent breakfast service too

Spacious room. Short walk from Hallstatt lahn bus stop. In front of the hotel is the ferry pier. In room Netflix available. Breakfast was superb good with lots of variety. Worth paying for the high rates for a good night rest

The hotel was easy to find. My room wasn't in the main building, so it was a short walk, but a staff member helped me with directions and my luggage. The lake view from the room was exactly as pictured. The room also had a bathtub, and the toiletries were L'Occitane. The breakfast restaurant is in the main building and offers partial sea views.

This is the fantastic place next to Hallstatt port just a few steps and nearby a few scenaric spots. Also, the service is great. Breakfast is nice.

Absolutely charming hotel by the lake. The rooms are cozy and warm, with the private sauna a bonus. Breakfast variety was good and the food delicious. Added points that it’s near to the jetty that ferries passengers to and fro the train station.

This is the top two hotel in Hallstatt but the front counter service is the worst that I met in Europe. I chose this hotel because it’s near to the cruise port but actually it’s has another building that is far away from here, better I take the other 4 star hotel that is near and service much better. Must improve the front desk service

Good, but the location is not the same show in map.we were set to other buildings walk 5 minutes away from the location

Super comfortable room with perfect scenery. Renovated from old heritage buildings , interior is perfectly new and warm. They provided full set Locotane product in bath room. Next to the church , able to listed the Chruch 🔔 evening&morning. Ferry port is just in-front , Breakfast also delicious. Satisfied for the charges.

I had a pleasant stay at Heritage Hotel Hallstatt. The location is excellent, it is situated right in front of the boat dock, which makes it especially convenient for travellers carrying large luggage. It was very easy to access upon arrival. The room cleanliness was average, and the hotel does appear somewhat aged. However, the amenities were impressive for a European hotel. They provided a L’Occitane amenities kit and slippers, which was a thoughtful touch. Although the room does not have air conditioning, a fan is provided. The restaurant staff were excellent and very friendly, making the dining experience enjoyable. The breakfast selection was decent and satisfying. Overall, it’s a good choice if you’re planning to stay in Hallstatt for a night.
