Really good little hotel. Comfy beds, good aircon and good bathroom and shower. Lady on the front desk was super welcoming and helpful.
We arrived at 4.30 am on the overnight bus from Cao Bang and waited in reception until the lady started at 6am. She found us an early checkin bedroom for a reasonable extra price which we were very grateful for.
Area has Bai Tho Mountain which I found entrance for and climbed. Good area for harbour, shopping, markets etc. More chilled part of the city than over the bridge. Well worth the stay and excellent value.

The owner is an amazing guy who will do his best to give you that experience you are looking for. This time the staff was more Numb towards me. The area certainly needs a anti ******, but that's not only in the direct area. I'm not going to write my whole "personal" experience, but FARANG is happy to leave this country. Still I do recommend both accommodations owned by an amazing guy, but I do not recommend white blonde guys to travel alone to Viet Nam.
