Hotel Louis C. Jacob

I am very disappointed this time. The hotel is a bit disgusting with the customers. Maybe the employees are venting their anger on the customers when they are having a hard time. The quality of the breakfast is much worse than in 2021. Thank you Ctrip for your understanding and help during this stay ~

I had booked afternoon teatime for my husband and me and specifically stated that we were celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary. When we arrived, the staff seemed very uncoordinated. They didn't seem to have us on their list, they had to find the table first and only when we asked where the cloakroom was did they offer to take our jackets. There was no congratulations on the table or in the speech, or a token of appreciation (flower, for example) related to the occasion - which is what I would have expected in a 5-star hotel. First we were given our champagne and we chose our tea, which we also got, otherwise there was no explanation of what would happen next. The staff were very busy with themselves and did not seek eye contact with the guests. After more than half an hour the cake stand with the canapés arrived, which were then explained to us. The food was really great. At one point our tea was empty, but no one came to ask if everything was OK and if we wanted something else to drink. Other guests also had to proactively draw attention to themselves, sometimes by coming to the counter from the next room to order or ask for the bill. When the second tea arrived, we noticed that the tea had been mixed up and was not assigned to me or my husband according to our order. This can all happen "in the heat of the moment", but there was hardly anything going on there and we were really disappointed overall with the service of a 5-star hotel. When it came to paying, returning the coats and saying goodbye, everyone was very helpful again, but unfortunately that couldn't make up for the previous impression. What a pity.

5 stars s is clearly 1 star and one s too many. Sorry to say

We spent two days at the Hotel Louis.C.Jacob. We were very satisfied. The dinner was excellent. The service was extremely friendly and very attentive. The whole arrangement was excellently organized. It completely met our expectations. We can recommend the hotel at any time.
