Arrived late caused by traffic on Autobahn. However this hotel is very special and unique from other hotels we usually visit. The hotels exterior is covered in wood. Super modern look and has a natural appeal to it. But the structure itself is made of concrete so idk how Eco-friendly the whole matter is. + for friendly staff, warm room and really clean and tidy. Since I come from the Nordic I can only refer to a Sauna in total, with all birch wood, wood essence & temperature.
Cool experience, but slightly overpriced I would say.

Top Hotel. Mal was ganz anderes wie ein normales Stadthotel. Alles aus Holz und sehr edel gemacht. Zimmer sehr sauber und wunderschön eingerichtet. Frühstück auch sehr sehr lecker :-) Man ist in 5 Minuten bei der S Bahn Station und von da aus ist man auch sofort in der Innenstadt. Das Hotel bleibt meine erste Adresse in Hamburg.

Vi tjekkede aldrig ind for receptionisten kunne umiddelbart ikke finde ud af det. Det var omkring midnat og af en eller anden grund var der intet der kunne lykkes. Virkelig underligt. Det virkede som om det var svært at finde vores reservation, derfor spurgte vi om det var muligt at få en nøgle, så vi kunne sove (det var et stop på vej på skiferie) og så kunne vi afregne om morgenen, men det var heller ikke muligt, så da intet skete gik vi igen efter 30 min og har aldrig sovet der. Vi aner ikke hvad der gik galt og hvorfor intet var muligt.

It is very difficult to find the hotel, especially in the night: there are no direction signs from the main street.
Parking is 15€, which for me it is expensive given the location. staff member at the reception couldn´t speak english, which made it a nightmare to get the direction to the hotel

Like staying in a packing case in a building site. Unfinished wood on the walls and bare concrete. No expense was too little for those who built and those who run this hotel. No Wi-Fi in the rooms, no tea or coffee in the rooms (you can pay in the cafe if you want half a cup of warm and very average coffee). Pillows and bedding is thin and a double turns out to be two singles pushed together. For a hotel in the suburbs it was poor value and the basics were not even attained
